Community canteens become popular for both young and old. For only 20 yuan, Fang Wenjing could buy her lunch at a community canteen in Hangzhou. She had a meat dish, a vegetable dish and a bowl of rice — all very healthy. “The dishes have a home-cooked taste,” said Fang.
Community canteens have become more and more popular in China recently. They were made for the old people at first. It can be difficult for some old people to cook on their own, so the canteens provide help. They can have lunch and dinner within a 10-minute walk, or community workers can bring the dishes to them. Zhang Suxia, a worker at a community canteen in Hangzhou, said that the cook made special meals for the old. The food is soft and has less oil.
Now, the community canteens are bringing in more young people. For those who don’t want to order takeout meals or eat at restaurants, the canteens provide them with healthier and cheaper dishes.
This also encourages community canteens to think of creative ways to provide food and make things easier for people. A canteen in Beijing’s Lugu Community brings out buffet-style (自助模式) dishes. The dishes are sold at 2.48 yuan per 100 grams. The price is lower than those of restaurants close by.
The rise of community canteens couldn’t have happened without the work of local governments. They provide subsidies for building the canteens as well as the dining expenses (费用) of the old people. There are now more than 6,700 community canteens in China, according to Tianyancha, a database company.
66.What can Fang Wenjing get for 20 yuan at the community canteen?
A.A meat dish and a bowl of rice.
B.A vegetable dish and a bowl of rice.
C.A meat dish, a vegetable dish and a bowl of rice.

A.It only sells food to old people.
B.Its dishes are sold in buffet- style.
C.Its food price is higher than nearby restaurants.
D.It doesn’t provide home- cooked taste food.
70.What is the main idea of this passage?

The 2025 Hunan City Soccer League, popularly known as the “Xiangchao”, concluded on Saturday evening with an exciting final (决赛) at the Helong Sports Center in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province.
With 43,695 audiences watching the final, the Yongzhou team defeated the Changde team 1-0, winning the champion. This soccer league showed the grassroots sporting spirit and boosted the province’s economy.
Yongzhou’s journey to championship glory began at a site which local people called the “wild pitch” — the city’s shabby, decades-old stadium. Although the stadium had a two-month repairing before the league began to meet the basic standards, several early matches were played while repair work was still ongoing. However, the facilities did not stop the passion of Yongzhou’s players and fans. Facing limited seating capacity, local organizers followed fans’ advice and creatively introduced “tree tickets” and “brick tickets”.
In the quarterfinals two weeks before, when the Yongzhou team played an away game, more than 30,000 fans packed their home stadium to watch the match via live broadcast. After the team won the game, the fans rushed to the streets for a citywide celebration.
These scenes, widely shared on social media, drew international attention, with netizens abroad describing the support as “what every team dreams of”. “We have the best fans,” said Yongzhou striker Gao Xiang, 19, who is a student majoring in sports science at Central South University in Changsha, received the Best Player of the League title during Saturday’s award ceremony as well.

Besides music, smile perhaps is the most beautiful language without borders between different people. In our childhood when we are babies, the first thing that we learn is to smile which is before “Mum and Dad”. Smile has no difference among people, no matter who you are and where you are from. When we have a problem, conflict or misunderstanding, only smile can help us communicate and release; when we are facing with some difficulties, only smile can help us overcome.
We will never forget the smile in the faces of the volunteers of the Olympic Games and in Shanghai Expo which show our friendship, generosity and the warmness. And we will never forget the smile in the faces of the waiters in a restaurant, the door-boys at the hotel gate, the teachers in the class and the doctors in the hospital. All these smiles are so beautiful that we feel the world is so nice, and the relation between people is so amazing. We will certainly think that life is sunny and attractive every day with a smile.
No matter how large the difficulties or frustration (沮丧) is, no matter how much is lost, we just need to smile, keep calm, work hard and use a smile to create our confidence. We will be much stronger and nothing can stop us until we have the last laugh.
