一般过去时 语法专题 This summer vacation, my family and I went on an amazing trip to Yuntai Mountain in Jiaozuo. It was a 3-day journey that I will never forget. The second day was the most exciting part. We visited the Red Stone Gorge, which is the most famous spot in Yuntai Mountain. The red rocks and clear blue water looked like a painting. We walked along the path beside the gorge, taking many photos. Later, we saw a wonderful waterfall. The water fell down from the high mountain, making a loud sound. It was so cool standing near it! On the last day, we went to Zhuyu Peak. We climbed up step by step along the stone stairs in the mountains. Along the way, we also saw blessing trees covered with red strings, on which many tourists had written their good wishes. When I reached the top of the peak, I finally understood the feeling of the famous Chinese poem line "When you reach the top of the mountain, all other mountains appear small below" — the distant mountains were layered one after another, and clouds and mists lingered among the mountains. The scenery was extremely spectacular! In the afternoon, we bought some small souvenirs, like local snacks and hand-made crafts, before heading back home.
