Let's learn.
Compound words (合成词):是把两个或两个以上的独立单词组合在一起,形成的一个具有新意义的新词。
根据书写形式分成三种
2. 连字符式:用连字符连接。eg.mother-in-law(岳母/婆婆),check-in(登记),passer-by(路人),make-up(化妆品)well-known(著名的)
1. 闭合式:连在一起写。eg.sunflower(向日葵),rainbow(彩虹), keyboard(键盘),playground(操场),bedroom(卧室),mailbox(邮箱)
3. 开放式:分开写,但意义是一个整体。eg. ice cream (冰淇淋),high school(高中),post office(邮局),bus stop(公交站)

A Story of Change
Mr. Wang has witnessed the transformation of Saihanba from a barren wasteland to a lush forest over the past decades. His life is intertwined with the green miracle.
