Daniel: Hi Sandy! Are you ready for the music festival this Saturday ,5th November?
Sandy: Of course! I’ve checked all the concert schedules. Let’s go through them together.
Daniel: Great. First, traditional Chinese folk music will be on in the school hall, from 9 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. It has a history of thousands of years and has strong local colour. I really look forward to it.
Sandy: Me too. Right after that, country music will start in the playground at 10:30 a.m. It lasts till noon. You know country music always talks about country life and cowboys, and guitars are its main instrument.
Daniel: Exactly. Then jazz comes next in the school hall. It starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. I know jazz was first created by African Americans, and players like to create new music when they perform.
Sandy: That’s amazing. Then rock music is on the playground from 3:30 p.m. to 5;30 p.m. It uses drums very often and it is really exciting.
Daniel: I plan to go to the classical concert at Sunshine Theatre in the evening. It begins at 7 p.m. and finishes at 9 p.m. Classical music is gentle and wonderful, it can make us relaxed and reduce our stress.
Sandy: Perfect! Let’s make a plan and enjoy all the wonderful music together.
