When Zhang Wei was a child, his grandfather often took him to the hill behind their village. At that time, the hill was covered with green trees and clear streams ran down it. 39-year-old Zhang Xue grew up with nothing but a dream and calloused(长满茧的) hands. He was born in 1987, and his parents separated when he was young.
