Many people like collecting stamps. But when did China’s first postage stamps come out?
China has 11 long history of a postal system. In 1878 (during the Qing dynasty), the first set of three stamps called “Large Dragons” 12 out.
In fact, dragon was a symbol (象征) of the emperor 13 ancient times. So there is a special design of a large dragon in the centre of each stamp. People 14 also see clouds and water around the dragons.
