How to Choose a Restaurant Wisely
People choose restaurants for different reasons. Some care most about taste, while others look first at price or distance. A wise choice usually comes from comparing several factors instead of following one high star rating. This is especially useful when we eat with family members, classmates or visitors from another city.
Food quality is the first thing to consider. A good restaurant uses fresh food and keeps the cooking area clean. It should also offer choices for different tastes. For example, some people like spicy dishes, but others prefer light soup or sweet fruit salad. If a restaurant can offer various flavors, more customers may enjoy the meal. Clear menus can also help customers order without wasting time.
Price and service are also important. Reasonable prices do not mean the cheapest food; they mean the meal is worth the money. Good service makes customers feel respected when they ask questions, place orders or need help with a problem. The dining environment matters as well because a quiet and cozy place can make a simple meal more relaxing. When we eat out, we should choose wisely, order properly and avoid waste. These habits can make dining safer, warmer and more enjoyable.
31. What should people do instead of following only one high star rating?
A. Choose the farthest restaurant.
B. Order the most expensive dish.
C. Ignore food quality.
D. Compare several factors.
32. What is the first thing to consider according to the passage?
A. The table color.
B. The music style.
C. Food quality.
D. The waiter’s age.
33. Why should a restaurant offer various flavors?
A. More customers may enjoy the meal.
B. It can close earlier every day.
C. It can stop people from asking questions.
D. All customers like spicy dishes only.
34. What does “reasonable prices” mean in the passage?
A. The cheapest food at all times.
B. The meal is worth the money.
C. The price is higher than others.
D. Customers do not need to pay.
35. What is the passage mainly about?
A. How to cook tomato soup.
B. Why star ratings are useless.
C. Factors for choosing a restaurant wisely.
D. The history of fruit salad.
D 32. C 33. A 34. B 35. C
根据第一段 “A wise choice usually comes from comparing several factors instead of following one high star rating.”
根据第二段 “Food quality is the first thing to consider.”
根据第二段 “If a restaurant can offer various flavors, more customers may enjoy the meal.”
根据第三段 “Reasonable prices do not mean the cheapest food; they mean the meal is worth the money.”

A. The table color.
B. The music style.
