M:I was introduced to athletics in secondary school,and then I got a scholarship to university because of my performance on the school athletics team.I guess I was really passionate about athletics from about 13 years old. W:So was it your school teachers that helped you start a career in sports? M:Not really.I had great school teachers and now I have the best coaches.But it's always been my father that has supported me and told me I can achieve anything I want. W:Tell us about winning your first gold medal.You must have been so excited. M:The funny thing is that I was lost in my own world during that race. W:Do you mean you were too tired to feel anything? M:No,not at all.I hadn't realized I was the winner and I couldn't believe it when I looked up,and there was no one ahead of me. W:So... 10.Hi,everyone.I want to share with you what it's like being on a cooking show.Many people think it's easy,but actually it's very stressful.I usually arrive at the studio around 7:00 a.m.First,I meet with the producer and we go through the script for the day.Then I go to the dressing room to change into my chefs uniform.After that,the make-up artist makes sure I look good on camera.This usually takes only about 15 minutes because I don't wear much makeup.We begin filming at around 9:00 am,but things don't always go smoothly.Sometimes the cameras don't work,or the sound is not clear,so we have to wait.When everything is ready,I start cooking and talking to the camera at the same time.It's hard to do both.We usually finish by 5:00 p.m.but it depends on how many mistakes we make:After filming,I take off my uniform,say goodbye to the team and go home to rest.It's a long day but I love sharing my recipes with the audience.
