Food is like a magical bridge and it connects people from different places and backgrounds. Let me tell you a story about my friend Li Rong.
Last year, Li went to America to study. The food there was very different from that in China. She missed the warm soups, spicy (麻辣的) noodles, and fresh dumplings from China. Tropical rainforests(热带雨林)are just like their name. They are forests where it rains a lot. In fact, a tropical rainforest receives between 150 and 400 centimetres of rain each year. They are also warm. Their temperature is between 25℃ and 35℃. Forests are green all year round. Their hot, wet and rainy weather is perfect for tall trees and other plants.
