For many people, the beautiful Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang are wonderful places for travelling. But for Yang Zongzong, a plant lover, they’re places where he started his dream and made it come true.
Yang Zongzong was born in Urumqi, Xinjiang in 1984. At the age of 6, he read a book about the plants in Xinjiang and became interested in plants.
