On Feb. 23, 2026, about 50 robots in red clothes put on a wonderful kung fu show at Beijing’s Temple of Heaven, a world-famous ancient landmark (地标) with over 600 years of history. These robots first became famous after their program WuBOT on China’s Spring Festival Gala a week before, where they danced and fought alongside real kung fu players.
Dressed in traditional red Chinese outfits (练功服), every robot copied the same moves as its partners. All robots finished synchronized kicks, hits and backflips without mistakes. Thanks to China’s self-developed group control technology, their movement difference is less than 0.01 seconds. The show was fully live-recorded with no computer special effects, which surprised lots of visitors and foreign reporters.
The mix of traditional Chinese buildings and modern AI technology soon got people all over the world’s attention. Many foreign newspapers wrote about the activity and praised it as a perfect way to spread traditional Chinese culture with high-tech inventions. Engineers say these robot shows are not just stage (舞台) shows but also show great progress in China’s robot industry.
From lab research to public outdoor shows, humanoid (人形的) robots are stepping into daily life little by little. The writer wants to show readers the value of mixing Chinese traditional culture and new technology through this robot kung fu show.

A. On the Spring Festival Gala B. At the Temple of Heaven
C. In a science lab in Beijing D. In a foreign country
27. Which picture matches the humanoid (人形的) robot show according to the passage?

B. It has a history of more than 600 years.
C. It uses lots of computer special effects.
D. It spreads Chinese traditional culture with high technology.
30. What’s the best title for the passage?
A. Kung Fu Culture in Old Beijing
B. Robot Kung Fu Show Mixes Tradition and Technology
C. High-tech Changes Our Daily Life
D. The History of Humanoid Robots

Li Na comes from Chengdu in China. She lost most of her eyesight at the age of 32 and worried deeply that she would never take part in outdoor sports or run again. She loved jogging before losing her sight and felt hopeless, staying indoors all day long.
However, she got a new chance thanks to a local public charity called Chasing the Light. Years later, she began running with volunteer guides from the charity’s public service team. A volunteer named Zhou Kai spent three months teaching her road safety skills and running rules, then followed her to take part in training every weekend. The charity lent her a special guiding running belt for free, and she could use it for half a year. When the rental (租借的) period ended, the belt would be put up for public charity sale.
Luckily, the organization planned to sell the used guiding belt for 120 yuan to raise money for more blind sports lovers. Li Na wasn’t sure if anyone would buy the worn-out equipment (设备). But Mr. Wang, a worker from a city public sports center, bought it right away after talking with charity reporters. He thought the money would help more disabled (残疾的) people enjoy sports.
Li Na’s eyes were filled with happy tears. For her, what moved her most was warm kindness from strangers. The belt was just common sports equipment. Now she keeps training every week and hopes more people will join charity work to help disabled groups.

前文说作者总在作业上涂鸦,体现绘画特长;全文为一般过去时,there be句型主语a class activity是单数,be动词用was;there were、it is时态主谓不匹配。

后文说“but he never gave up”,转折词“but”提示前面是“起初的困境”。At once“立刻”、At last“最后”、At least“至少”都无法与“but”形成转折关系,只有At first“起初”符合。
空格后接“China should own world-class racing motorcycles”,这是他的信念。
took up“开始从事”、put up“张贴”、looked up“查阅”都与此语境无关。
