第一篇：A Happy Trip to the Safari Park
Last weekend, my parents took me to the big safari park in our city. I have wanted to join the Safari Park Kids Club for a long time, so this trip made me very excited. Before we left home, I read the park rules carefully. The guide told us we must wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle and umbrella. Most importantly, we need to respect, care for and protect all animals here.
We took the safari truck tour first. Sitting on the truck, I felt so close to wild animals. On the grassland, strong lions and tigers walked slowly to look for food. Near the lake, we saw lots of flamingos. I learned a fun fact: not all flamingos look pink. Their pink colour comes from shrimps and algae they eat every day. Then we visited the panda house. The cute pandas love bamboo most. There was a tiny panda cub called Sangsang. One month ago, she was pink with thin white hair and could only crawl. Now she can open her black eyes and walk slowly.
We also watched a short movie about sea animals like whales in the park hall. The movie said many sea whales face big threats from human activities. We must learn their living habits and try our best to protect them. When the sun went down, I left the safari park with many new ideas. I decided to write an animal observation diary to record all lovely animals I met today. This wonderful trip taught me that humans and animals should be good friends forever.

第二篇：My Animal Observation Diary of Sangsang the Panda
March 28, Monday Sunny
Today I went to the safari park to visit Sangsang, a lovely panda cub. I started my animal observation diary to write down all her changes every week. Last week when Sangsang was just one week old, she looked totally different from adult pandas. She was pink with little white hair, without any black fur. She could not open her eyes, and the only thing she could do was crawl slowly beside her mum. I stood quietly and watched her for half an hour, afraid to disturb her rest.
April 16, Saturday Cloudy
Two weeks passed, Sangsang grew bigger. Her hair turned black and white little by little. Now she is one month old. She can open her round black eyes and look around the panda house. Her legs are stronger than before, but she still cannot run fast. Her main food is fresh bamboo, and the animal keeper cuts soft bamboo shoots for her every morning. The keeper told me pandas eat more than bamboo sometimes, and they also love small fruits. Many visitors come to see Sangsang every day, but we must keep quiet and care for her. Today I saw the big panda Kangkang next door. Kangkang is a nineteen-year-old Asian elephant. In eight months, she will have a baby elephant of her own. I watched her stand under a big tree to sleep at noon. In the afternoon, the keeper fed her fresh grass and leaves, and she ate a huge amount of food.
From this observation diary, I learn that every baby animal grows slowly with their mums’ care. All young animals need our respect and protection. I will keep writing this diary to record Sangsang’s growth, and tell my classmates to protect wild pandas and their homes. 第三篇：Lovely Hippo Momo and His Daily Habits
In the safari park’s water area, there lives a cute baby hippo named Momo. I write down his daily life in my animal observation diary every Saturday. Last month, Momo was just one month old, and his living habits are so interesting that all visitors love watching him.
Momo spends almost all daytime resting in cool water with his mum. Hippos’ skin will get dry and hurt without water, so staying in water is their most important habit. He can walk freely in shallow water, and he is learning to dive well. Last Saturday, I saw Momo hold his head under water for five whole minutes! The animal keeper said baby hippos practice diving every day to keep safe from danger in rivers. 第五篇：We Should Protect All Animals on Earth
Last Friday, our class took a school trip to the safari park, and our teacher asked us to finish an animal observation diary after the trip. This trip changed my idea about protecting wild animals deeply.
We joined the safari truck tour first. We saw strong tigers and lions walking freely on the grassland. Tall giraffes fed on tree leaves with their long necks, and cute panda cubs played slowly in the bamboo forest. In the water pool, baby hippo Momo dived in and out of the water. After the truck tour, we watched a film about huge whales living in the sea. The film showed many sad facts: sea rubbish, overfishing and ocean pollution bring serious threats to whales, and their number is getting smaller every year.
The park guide told us the rules of the Safari Park Kids Club. The core rule is to respect, care for and protect every animal. We cannot feed wild animals our own snacks, cannot make loud noise to scare cubs, and cannot touch animals without keepers’ permission. We also learned many animal living habits. The animal keeper shared his daily work with us. Every morning, he prepares special food for different animals. He checks baby giraffes’ health and gives injections when necessary. He cleans panda houses and hippo pools to keep their living space clean. He said all animals are our friends, and human beings have the duty to stop destroying their homes.
When I went back home, I started my observation diary at once. I wrote down all animals I saw, drew their pictures, and recorded their fun facts. I told my family we must do small things to protect animals: save clean water, reduce plastic rubbish and never buy animal products. The safari park trip taught me an important lesson: every animal, from tiny panda cubs to big whales, deserves our love and protection. If we try our best, humans and animals can live happily together on our planet forever.
