Earth Day and Spring Days of Service 2026

Celebrate Earth Day by giving back with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy! Join us in honoring Earth Day and National Volunteer Week through hands-on volunteer opportunities in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA). Volunteers can take part in habitat restoration, park maintenance, trail stewardship (管理), and community science projects that support healthy ecosystems. Whether you’re new to volunteering or passionate about environmental stewardship, this Earth Day volunteer event in the Bay Area is a great way to connect with nature and make a meaningful impact.

In addition to volunteer opportunities, bring any ambitious young rangers (护林员) in your life to Junior Ranger Day in Muir Woods on April 18! This will be a fee-free day, but please remember to reserve your parking in advance.
