I don’t spend much time with him over the weekends because he likes to play video games at home just by himself. I’m cool with it because I can visit other friends. I value (重视) his friendship a lot because Larry cares about me and often gives great advice to my problems.
③Anna, an Introvert
I think nothing is more enjoyable than staying on sofa by myself with a great book in hand. However, I do also need time with my two best friends, Sue and Tina. The Prince and the Pauper: A Chance Meeting
Tom, a poor boy, often dreamed about the life of a prince. One day, he wandered near the prince’s palace. Prince Edward saw Tom from a window and was curious about this boy who looked so much like him. He invited Tom into the palace.
They were amazed at how similar they looked—same face, same hair, same height. They talked about their very different lives. Edward found Tom’s stories of freedom outside the palace walls exciting, while his own life seemed full of rules and boredom. Edward had an idea: they would swap clothes for just a few minutes of fun.
However, once they changed, a guard mistakenly thought Edward, now in Tom’s rags, was the beggar and threw him out of the palace. The prince was forced onto the streets, while Tom, dressed in royal clothes, was kept inside. Their short game of pretend turned into a serious problem, and a long adventure was about to begin for both boys.
