七、书面表达(参考范文)
Dear David,
Thank you for sharing your feelings with me. I can understand that you are passionate about AI. It’s a fascinating field, and your interest is a great strength. However, I also understand your worry about your falling grades. Finding a balance is indeed important.
Here are some suggestions for you. First, make a reasonable timetable. Set aside specific hours for your schoolwork and separate hours for exploring AI. This will help you manage your time effectively without neglecting either. Second, try to combine your interest with your studies. For example, you can use AI tools to help you understand difficult math or science concepts. This way, your passion becomes a learning aid. Finally, make sure you get enough rest. A tired mind cannot learn efficiently or enjoy any hobby to its fullest.
I believe you can find the right balance. Your passion for AI is a gift. Don’t give it up, but also don’t let it overshadow your main responsibilities. I hope you can make progress in both your studies and your hobby.
Yours sincerely,

Zhang Xue and His Motorcycles
Zhang Xue grew up in a small village in China. When he was 13, he left school and started repairing bicycles by the roadside. He worked hard every day, even sleeping next to the road. Later, he learned to fix motorcycles. His biggest dream was to build his own motorcycle one day.
After many years of hard work, Zhang started his own company — Zhang Xue Motorcycles. His team built a fast motorcycle called the 820RR. This amazing bike can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.81 seconds. In 2026, the 820RR won five world championships, beating famous brands like Yamaha and Kawasaki.
Zhang did not build the winning motorcycle alone. Over 40 small factories in China helped make special parts for the bike, such as brake discs and frames. One part alone took 18 months to get right. Zhang calls these factories “hidden champions.”
However, not everything was perfect. Some customers found problems with their motorcycles, like oil leaks and loose bolts. Getting repairs also took a long time. Zhang Xue said sorry to his customers. He promised to recall 2,100 motorcycles and fix them for free. He also started a 24-hour hotline for help.

A week went by, and I thought my secret seemed safe. But then, Eddie, a boy from my history class shouted, “She lives in a Spook House (鬼屋)!” He pointed right out the window and shouted. “I can’t believe it. I thought only ghosts lived there!”
I felt my face grew hot and blinked back a tear. Everyone looked out the window, then at me, including Justine, who said, “Wait, Sarah, I thought you lived in the flat.”
“We moved.” I said in a low voice. “In a week?” She asked.
I didn’t answer. “The house will look a lot better once we have it painted.”
Justine gave me a pitiful look, the kind of look you give a dog that lives in rubbish. “I’m sorry you have to live there.”
In class, I could not read a word in the book. A storm churns (反胃,恶心) in my stomach. I wanted to talk to Justine more about my house, but after class, she hurried off to walk with another girl.
I stayed silent during dinner. “What’s wrong?” Grandma asked.
“This house. The kids at school call it the Spook House.”
Grandma shook her head. “Kids. They’ll make fun of anything. This is a fine house, and your mom has worked hard to make it nice.”
“The inside, yes. But the outside is terrible,” I replied.
Grandma smiled. “At least you have a home, sweetheart. Some people don’t, you know.”
As always, she was right. But I still didn’t feel any better.
The next morning, an idea launched in my head. At school, I saw Juan and waved him down.
“Have you painted any houses yet, Juan?”
“Not yet. We’re just starting our business.”
“Well, what if you paint my house as a sample? Instead of paying you, we would let you put a sign in our yard to advertise, and people could see what a great job you’ve done. You know, one good ad is worth a million dollars.”
Juan laughed. “It might work.”
Then my mom picked again Coastal Colors. Each day, as Juan and David worked, every brushstroke felt like magic. When the painting was done, the house looked amazing. As cars drove by, they slowed down to read the sign. All summer, Juan got more business this way.
By the start of the new term, where I lived was no longer cared about. Most kids who talked about it had moved on to other things.
Justine never did invite me over, and that was fine. I have had a new friend, Donita. She loves my house and has made a poster of it. At the top, instead of writing “the Spook House”, she wrote in a lovely script Coastal Villa (别墅).

六、阅读下面短文,用英语回答短文后的问题(第1、2小题各2分,第3小题3分,满分7分。)
Have you ever heard of “eco-anxiety”? It’s not a fear of open spaces or insects. It’s the feeling of worry, fear, or hopelessness about the future of our planet, especially climate change.
Eco-anxiety is becoming more common among teenagers. Why? Because young people are constantly seeing news about melting ice caps, forest fires, and extreme weather. They feel uncertain about their future and feel powerless to make a difference.
A 2026 global study found that 70% of teenagers experience some level of eco-anxiety. A 16-year-old from Nanjing said, “Sometimes I lie awake at night worrying about whether there will be a healthy planet for me to raise children on.”
But experts say a mild form of eco-anxiety can be a good thing. It shows you care and can motivate you to take action. However, severe anxiety can be paralyzing (令人不知所措的). So what should you do?
First, talk about your feelings. Don’t keep them inside. Share them with friends, family, or a teacher. Second, take action, no matter how small. Recycle, plant a tree, or join a local cleanup. Action replaces fear with hope. Third, find positive news. There are many success stories about environmental protection. Finally, connect with nature. Go for a walk in a park. It reminds you of what you are protecting.
Dr. Lin, an environmental psychologist, says, “Eco-anxiety is a normal response to a real problem. Don’t let it drown you. Instead, let it be your compass (罗盘,指南针), guiding you to take small meaningful steps.”
So, if you feel anxious about the environment, don’t ignore it. Channel that energy into positive change.
64. What is eco-anxiety?
______________________________________________________________________
65. Why do teenagers feel eco-anxiety?

66. According to Dr. Lin, can mild (轻度的) eco-anxiety be good? What does Dr. Lin suggest we let eco-anxiety be?
