Activity 13 Sharing
Hello everyone. I have donated old clothes for charity. I took part in our class’s clothes-donation activity and sent my clean out-of-size coats and shoes to the collection box. These clothes are given to poor children or sent to recycling factories. This activity brings a big change to me: I never throw unused clothes away any more and develop a good habit of sorting waste at home, because I learn old items can help people and cut down waste to protect the environment. I will keep donating clothes in the future, for helping others brings me happiness and donating is a great green choice for World Environment Day. To get more classmates involved, I plan to share the Swiss recycling story with them and keep a fixed donation box in our classroom to encourage everyone to take part in charity.
