March 23, 2026 Monday Sunny
A few months ago, I sat at this desk and felt helpless and sad. I found it hard to learn math well. I always compared myself with others, and that brought me much pressure. I felt nervous about exams and sad about my grades.
But things changed later. I wasn’t helpless anymore. One afternoon, I found the courage to talk to my teacher Ms. Li. She was very kind and helpful. She told me to manage my time well and not stay up late. She also advised me to relax in healthy ways, like taking a deep breath or going for a jog.
I also followed her advice on making friends. I talked with my classmates more and shared books with them. Slowly, I wasn’t left out anymore! My classmates started inviting me to chat and do group work.
I also joined the basketball team. At first it was difficult, but I learned that making mistakes is normal. Little by little, I became more confident.
Looking back now, I don’t regret those hard days. They taught me to balance study and life. I’m thankful for this experience, and I believe I can shine in my own way.

Dear friends,
Today I finished my work as a school gatekeeper. Thirty years have passed quickly, and they are the most unforgettable years of my life.
I can still remember my first day on this job. I was a little nervous because I didn’t know how to get along with the kids. A little girl walked up to me, handed me a small drawing, and said, “Uncle, you look kind.” The sweet gift and warm words gave me courage to do my job well.
Over the years, I have seen many touching moments. Every morning, the students would wave and say “Good morning” to me. When it rained, I lent my umbrella to those who forgot theirs. On my birthday, some students brought me small cards with their best wishes. Gradually, I felt that my job was meaningful and important. I watched the students grow from little kids to young adults.
Being a school gatekeeper is not a difficult job, but it is full of responsibility. I protected the students’ safety every school day. I found happiness in this ordinary job.
Today I am saying goodbye to my job. New gatekeepers will continue to guard the school. I want to tell them: “________”.
Thank you all!

A: I agree. Teamwork makes everything better. ____59____?

59. Can I join you/Can I volunteer with you
60. You’re welcome (答案不唯一,符合题意即可)

根据后文Tengfei的肯定回答“Yes, I do”以及后续提到的周末志愿计划,可推知此处A询问Tengfei周末是否已有安排,应用do引导的一般疑问句“Do you have any plans for this weekend”。
【57题详解】
Tengfei回答了具体要做的志愿内容,可知A问的是你们在社区中心要做什么,用what引导的特殊疑问句“What will you do (there)”。

A提问“什么能造就一个好团队”,Tengfei后一句点明了好合作的作用,因此这里回答“I think cooperation is very important/Cooperation/It’s cooperation”符合逻辑。

Tengfei回答“Welcome to join us.”,A提出了加入团队的请求,问句“Can I join you/Can I volunteer with you”符合交际情境。

【答案】例文
Dear Tom,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy these days. I’ve had the same problem before. Last week, my parents worried that I spent too much time on my phone and thought it would affect my studies. We had an open talk later. I listened patiently to them, and they also listened to my opinion—I used the phone to learn English and relax. Finally, we made a rule: I would manage my screen time for one hour after finishing homework every day. Now everything is fine. I think respect and communication can turn disagreements into warm understanding.
Hope things get better soon!
Yours,
Li Hua

I also followed her advice on making friends. I talked with my classmates more and shared books with them. Slowly, I wasn’t left out anymore! My classmates started inviting me to chat and do group work.
I also joined the basketball team. At first it was difficult, but I learned that making mistakes is normal. Little by little, I became more confident.
Looking back now, I don’t regret those hard days. They taught me to balance study and life. I’m thankful for this experience, and I believe I can shine in my own way.
