Living in a community with neighbors from different countries can be fun and meaningful, but it also needs patience and understanding. Maria, a 14-year-old girl in London, has such a community. Her next-door neighbors are a family from Japan, and the family across the street is from India.
At first, Maria found it hard to get along with them. The Japanese family always bowed when they met her, but Maria didn’t know how to reply.
