Why to write
1.Does the first paragraph present the writer’s opinion? Why?
This morning, I saw the shocking headline: “Passenger Dies When Car Crashes in Driverless Mode”. In the article, various people said the public should oppose the idea of developing driverless cars. They said that some advances in technology were unnecessary and could even be dangerous. Hence, we should cease accepting technology just because it is new. but the families of the deceased said it was not enough. Nevertheless, the company still claimed that most people would be travelling in driverless cars one day soon.

Sample Writing
Last week, I read a news report about the digital restoration of an ancient temple in Xi’an. It made me wonder: Should Jingzhou Ancient City also welcome new technology to conserve it?
On the one hand, there are reasonable concerns about using technology in cultural conservation. For example, large electronic screens or bright lights could spoil the traditional appearance of the ancient city. In addition, some fear that relying too much on technology may reduce the need for traditional craftsmen, causing their skills to be forgotten.
On the other hand, new technology can bring important benefits to the protection of Jingzhou Ancient City. Drones and laser scanning can help experts check the walls and buildings for damage without touching them. Furthermore, digital tools like 3D modeling and online virtual tours can help people around the world learn about Jingzhou’s history and culture without traveling there. This not only shares Chinese culture but also reduces physical tourist pressure on the site.
