You can pay per journey in cash at a machine in a subway or train station or in person on a bus. Copenhagen Card The Copenhagen Card gives you unlimited public transport in the capital region of Denmark, plus free entry to over 80 museums and attractions. City Pass You can also buy a City Pass, a digital travel ticket for unlimited public transport valid (有效的) for 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours, costing from DKK 80 for 24 hours for unlimited travel in Copenhagen zones 1 — 4, including the airport. There is a version for adults and another for children over 12. You can take two children under 12 for free. Children aged 12 — 15 travel at half price. Harbour Bus The harbour bus runs in both directions from Teglholm in the south to Refshaleden in the north. These boats are operated by the same carrier as normal buses, and all ticket types are valid. It is a great way to see the city from the water and an efficient way to get from Nyhavn to Reffen in summer. Since 2020, all harbour buses have run on green electricity. Bike and Electric Scooter It’s super easy to rent a bike from a local bike shop, pick up a Donkey rental bike on the street, or rent an electric scooter via an app. For more about bike rental and the city’s cycling rules, see the bike guide. You can take a bike on the subway, but not during commuting (通勤) hours (Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 — 9:00 and 15:30 — 17:30), and also on a regional train. For both, you must buy a ticket for yourself and your bike! 21. How much should two parents and a 13-year-old child pay to buy City Passes for a 24-hour period? A. DKK 160. B. DKK 200. C. DKK 240. D. B While undergoing treatment for breast cancer, I returned to work — probably a little too soon. It was a difficult and emotionally draining time with my health issues. It’s all the stuff that makes our lives “full”. One day, after a stress-filled phone conversation, I hung up the phone, put my head down on my desk, and let out a huge, weepy sigh. My co-worker, Joyce, stepped away from her work and rolled her chair next to mine. “What’s going on?” she asked. “What isn’t going on?” I complained. “Pick a subject: sick mom, out-of-control adult child, sick dog, daily treatments, and my car that needs work. Everything is dreadful! I’m so tired. I feel like all this will never end!” I grabbed a bunch of tissues and tried to compose myself. Joyce gave me a moment to calm down. She then told me a little about a time when she also had a tough time with a lot of things going on. She felt totally overwhelmed, like there was no end to the stress. I asked her how she had managed. She winked and held out an open hand and a closed fist. Her response gave me words to live by in stressful times. “Inbox full or inbox empty?” I got the message. Those wise words have become a golden rule for me, and I am forever grateful. When I feel like life stuff just keeps piling on — whether it’s good, bad or just feels like too much to handle — I recite those perspective-changing words. I often pass on those wise words to someone when they feel overwhelmed and need a little friendly support. “Inbox full or inbox empty?” There are still many bumps in the road of my life’s journey, and I often remind myself of those words: “Inbox full or inbox empty?” My inbox is full. I don’t know what an empty inbox looks like. And I don’t want to know. 24. What can we learn about the author? A. She led a simple life. B. She was in good health. C. She had a busy schedule. D. She enjoyed her life a lot. 25. What does the underlined word “dreadful” in paragraph 4 probably mean? A. Terrible. B. Useless. C. Unusual. D. Interesting. 26. What can we infer about Joyce’s words? A. They didn’t work well for the author. B. They gave the author a sudden inspiration. C. They served as kind criticism to the author. D. They got the author into a jam. 27. What does the author intend to convey in the last paragraph? A. Her objection to others’ advice. B. Her confusion about an empty inbox. C. Her satisfaction with her present life. D. Her preference for a relaxing lifestyle. C On Earth Day — April 22 — the XPrize announced the winners of its Carbon Removal contest. A company called Mati Carbon won the $50 million prize. Their method is simple, but it could remove huge amounts of carbon dioxide and also help farmers grow more food. In 2021, the XPrize Foundation group began a 4-year contest for the best ideas of removing more than 1,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions (排放) in a year. Over 1,300 teams entered the contest. Last year, 20 finalists were chosen. The finalists used many different methods to remove carbon. But in April, Mati Carbon won the $50 million grand prize with a fairly simple idea. The company uses a very common kind of volcanic rock called basalt (玄武岩). Basalt is used worldwide to construct roads and buildings. Companies that break up the basalt often have a fine powder of basalt left over that they can’t use. Luckily, this is exactly what Mati Carbon needs. The company removes carbon by spreading this rock powder on farm fields. The powder pulls CO2 out of the water in the soil and stores it in a way that will last for thousands of years. The results aren’t just good for the environment — they’re also good for the farmers. Farmers who use the basalt powder on their fields grow roughly 25% more food. In areas with poor soil, farmers can grow as much as 70% more. The rock dust also helps the soil hold water better, which is important in dry places. Mati Carbon is already spreading basalt powder on farms in several countries, including India, Tanzania, and Zambia. So far, Mati Carbon has removed over 1,000 metric tons of CO2, but the company believes that number will grow rapidly. Mati Carbon is a non-profit company. It puts the powder on farmlands for free. To pay for this, the company sells “carbon credits”. Since Mati Carbon is removing pollution, large companies that create pollution buy credits to “offset” their pollution so they can be “carbon neutral (碳中和)” 28. What is Mati Carbon’s method about? A. Making the air clean. B. Creating new energy. C. Balancing the crop production. D. Reducing carbon dioxide. 29. Which of the following can describe Mati Carbon’s using a fine powder of basalt? A. Following a traditional way. B. Turning waste into treasure. C. Challenging an impossible task. D. Creating something totally new. 30. What do we know about Mati Carbon’s effort? A. It’s highly effective. B. It costs a lot of money. C. It makes the soil worse at holding water. D. It requires farmers to pay for basalt powder. 31. What can be a suitable title for the text? A. Simple Idea Makes Company Win Environmental Contest B. Basalt Powder Helps Farmers and Reduces CO2 Emissions C. Mati Carbon Searches for Ways to Increase Crop Production D. More Advanced Farm Techniques Are Used to Promote Carbon Neutrality D Just a few years ago, agricultural drones (农业无人机) were expensive, small and difficult to use, limiting their appeal to farmers. In contrast, today’s models can be flown immediately after purchase and carry loads weighing up to 220 pounds (100 kg). Agricultural drones are now similar to flying tractors (空中拖拉机) — they can perform numerous tasks using different hardware attachments. Common uses for drones on farms include spraying (喷洒) crops, spreading fertilizer, sowing seeds, transporting produce, dispensing fish feeds, painting greenhouses, monitoring livestock locations and well-being, mapping field topography and drainage, and measuring crop health. These features make drones valuable for growing numerous crops on farms of all sizes. Historically, most agricultural technology — tractors, for example — has spread from high-income countries to middle-and then lower-income ones over the course of many decades. Drones partially reversed (使完全相反) and dramatically accelerated this pattern, spreading first from East Asia to Southeast Asia, then to Latin America, and finally to North America and Europe. Their use in higher-income regions is more limited but is accelerating rapidly in the U.S. Shifting from applying chemicals with backpack sprayers to drones substantially reduces the risk of direct exposure to toxins for farmers and farm workers. However, because drones usually spray from a height of at least 6 feet (2 meters), if used improperly, they can spread droplets containing pesticides or herbicides to neighboring farms, waterways or bystanders. That can damage crops and endanger people and nature. Drones, which spray and spread fertilizers and seeds evenly and efficiently, save farmers time and money, so that less is wasted. Meanwhile, they reduce the need for smallholders — people who farm less than 5 acres (2 hectares) — to do dangerous and tiring manual spraying and spreading work on their own farms. They also remove the need to hire workers to do the same. However, governments may need to find ways to help displaced workers find new jobs. In combination, these factors may increase the amount of food that can be produced on each acre of land, while reducing the amount of resources needed to do so. In the past five years, millions of farmers around the world have embraced drones. 32. What can be known about agricultural drones from paragraph 2? A. They enjoy great popularity. B. They come with multiple functions. C. They are quite affordable. D. They cause widespread unemployment. 33. What is special about agricultural drones? A. Their spreading pattern. B. Their operating principle. C. Their research and development. D. Their low-price marketing strategy. 34. What is the author’s attitude to agricultural drones? A. Objective. B. Unclear. C. Doubtful. D. Dismissive. 35. What can be a suitable title for the text? A. Drones Revolutionize American Agriculture B. Drones Increase Farmers’ Working Costs C. Agricultural Drones Are Taking Off Globally D. Agricultural Drones Do Good to Environment Let’s talk about movement, not as exercise, but as a secret weapon for creative people. For two years, we shared a table, but there seemed to be a world between us. She spent every break reading by the window. To me, she was cold and selfish. “She only cares about herself and her perfect grades, “I often thought, feeling upset with my smart but distant deskmate. Then, just three weeks before the midterm exam, I caught a bad flu. I returned to school a full week later, filled with panic. Physics was my weakest subject, and I had missed crucial lessons. My first move was to seek help. I asked around, hoping to borrow notes. One classmate had lost his notebook. Another’s handwriting was a chaotic mess I couldn’t understand. And a third simply forgot to bring it. With each rejection, my anxiety grew. Time was running out, and I felt completely lost. Finally, with a sinking heart, I knew there was only one person left to ask: Nora. Her physics notes were famous for being clear and perfect. But the thought of asking her made my face burn. I imagined her polite but firm refusal, a small shake of her head that would confirm all my beliefs about her selfishness. All day, I rehearsed (彩排) the request in my head, my courage failing each time I looked at her focused profile. After the last bell, I stayed at my desk, trying to be brave. But as I turned to finally speak, my words died in my throat. There, neatly placed in the center of my desk, was a notebook. It wasn’t mine. With a pounding heart, I opened it. Inside were the most beautiful notes I had ever seen. Every lesson from my sick week was there, written in precise handwriting. Complex formulas (公式) were broken down step by step. Clear diagrams illustrated every key concept. It was a lifeline. 注意:1.续写词数应为150个左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 I immediately looked at Nora. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It turned out that during my illness, Nora was specially taking notes for me. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 高三三轮复习第五次模拟考试 英语 试题 注意事项:本试卷共150分,考试时间为120分钟。 第I卷 (听力 共30分) I.听力(共两节,满分 30 分) 第一节(共5小题;每小题1.5分,满分7.5分) 听下面5段对话。每段对话后有一个小题,从题中所给的A、B、C三个选项中选出最佳选项。听完每段对话后,你都有10秒钟的时间来回答有关小题和阅读下一小题。每段对话读两遍。 1. 【此处可播放相关音频,请去附件查看】 How does the woman feel now? Before you is a set of newly reproduced edition of the Yongle Dadian, but they are not simple copies. They are produced using modern handmade Xuan paper and high-quality color printing, which carefully preserves the size, weight, and handwritten notes of the original volumes. As you turn the pages, you are not just reading history — you’re witnessing the act of preservation itself. More than 600 years ago, Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty ordered the creation of the Yongle Dadian. His goal was ambitious: to collect all known knowledge of China at the time into one great work. The Yongle Dadian brought together over 7,000 ancient classics, covering history, philosophy and so on, from the pre-Qin period to the early Ming Dynasty. To help visitors understand its scale, scholars often compare the Yongle Dadian to a library of knowledge, carefully written by hand and bound into thousands of volumes. Now let’s take a closer look. 第II卷 (笔试 共120分) Ⅱ. 阅读(共两节,满分50分) 第一节 阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。(共15小题;每小题2.5分,满分37.5分) A Public transport in Copenhagen is inexpensive and easy to use. 【答案】24. C 25. A 26. B 27. More Advanced Farm Techniques Are Used to Promote Carbon Neutrality 【答案】28. D 29. B 30. A 31. A 【解析】 【导语】本文是一篇新闻报道。主要介绍Mati Carbon公司凭借玄武岩粉末吸收二氧化碳的简单方法,赢得XPrize碳去除大赛大奖,还能助力农业增产。 【28题详解】 细节理解题。根据第一段中的“Their method is simple, but it could remove huge amounts of carbon dioxide and also help farmers grow more food.(他们的方法很简单,但可以去除大量二氧化碳,还能帮助农民种植更多粮食。)”可知,Mati Carbon的方法是关于减少二氧化碳的。故选D项。 【29题详解】 推理判断题。根据第三段中的“Companies that break up the basalt often have a fine powder of basalt left over that they can’t use. Luckily, this is exactly what Mati Carbon needs.(破碎玄武岩的公司常会剩下无法使用的细粉末。幸运的是,这正是Mati Carbon所需要的。)”可知,该公司将废弃的玄武岩粉末加以利用,属于变废为宝。故选B项。 【30题详解】 细节理解题。根据第四段中的“Farmers who use the basalt powder on their fields grow roughly 25% more food. In areas with poor soil, farmers can grow as much as 70% more.(在田里使用玄武岩粉末的农民粮食产量增加约25%。在土壤贫瘠地区,增产可达70%。)”以及第五段中的“So far, Mati Carbon has removed over 1,000 metric tons of CO2, but the company believes that number will grow rapidly. (到目前为止,Mati Carbon已经去除了超过1000吨二氧化碳,但该公司预计这一数字将会快速增长。)”可知,该公司的举措效果十分显著。故选A项。 【31题详解】 主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是第二段中的“But in April, Mati Carbon won the $50 million grand prize with a fairly simple idea.(但在4月,Mati Carbon凭借一个相当简单的想法赢得了5000万美元大奖。)”可知,文章围绕Mati Carbon公司用一个简单的创意赢得环保大赛并实现碳去除与农业增产展开,因此“简单创意让公司赢得环保大赛”最适合作为标题。故选A项。 D Just a few years ago, agricultural drones (农业无人机) were expensive, small and difficult to use, limiting their appeal to farmers. Agricultural Drones Do Good to Environment 【答案】32. B 33. A 34. A 35. C 【解析】 【导语】这是一篇说明文,文章介绍了农业无人机的升级变化与多样用途,对比了农业无人机与传统农业技术截然不同的传播模式,客观阐述了农业无人机在农业生产中的优势与使用隐患,展现出农业无人机在全球范围内快速推广普及的发展趋势。 【32题详解】 细节理解题。根据文章第二段“Agricultural drones are now similar to flying tractors — they can perform numerous tasks using different hardware attachments.(如今的农业无人机如同飞行拖拉机,搭配不同配件可完成多项工作)”可知,如今的农业无人机搭配不同配件可完成多项工作,所以此处说的是农业无人机具备多种功能。故选B项。 【33题详解】 细节理解题。根据原文第三段“Historically, most agricultural technology — tractors, for example — has spread from high-income countries to middle-and then lower-income ones over the course of many decades. Drones partially reversed (使完全相反) and dramatically accelerated this pattern, spreading first from East Asia to Southeast Asia, then to Latin America, and finally to North America and Europe (长久以来多数农业技术从高收入国家逐步向外传播,而无人机扭转并加快了这一传播模式)”可知,农业无人机的特别之处在于其独特的传播模式。故选 A 项。 【34题详解】 推理判断题。根据倒数第三段“Shifting from applying chemicals with backpack sprayers to drones substantially reduces the risk of direct exposure to toxins for farmers and farmworkers. However, because drones usually spray from a height of at least 6 feet (2 meters), if used improperly, they can spread droplets containing pesticides or herbicides to neighboring farms, waterways or bystanders. That can damage crops and endanger people and nature(从使用背负式喷雾器施用化学品转变为使用无人机,大幅降低了农民和农场工人直接接触有毒物质的风险。然而,由于无人机通常在至少6英尺(2米)的高度进行喷洒,若使用不当,含有农药或除草剂的液滴便会扩散至邻近农田、水道或波及旁观者。这既会损害农作物,又会危及人类与自然环境)”以及倒数第二段“Drones, which spray and spread fertilizers and seeds evenly and efficiently, save farmers time and money, so that less is wasted. Meanwhile, they reduce the need for smallholders — people who farm less than 5 acres (2 hectares) — to do dangerous and tiring manual spraying and spreading work on their own farms. They also remove the need to hire workers to do the same. However, governments may need to find ways to help displaced workers find new jobs(无人机能够均匀且高效地喷洒、播撒肥料和种子,为农民节省了时间和成本,从而减少了资源浪费。 故选A项。 【35题详解】 主旨大意题。根据第一段“Just a few years ago, agricultural drones (无人机) were expensive, small and difficult to use, limiting their appeal to farmers. In contrast, today’s models can be flown immediately after purchase and carry loads weighing up to 220 pounds (100 kg).(就在几年前,农业无人机不仅价格昂贵、体型小巧,而且操作难度大,这大大限制了它们对农民的吸引力。相比之下,如今的无人机型号一经购买即可立即投入使用,且载重能力高达220磅(100公斤))”、第三段“Historically, most agricultural technology — tractors, for example — has spread from high-income countries to middle-and then lower-income ones over the course of many decades. Drones partially reversed (使完全相反) and dramatically accelerated this pattern, spreading first from East Asia to Southeast Asia, then to Latin America, and finally to North America and Europe (长久以来多数农业技术从高收入国家逐步向外传播,而无人机扭转并加快了这一传播模式)”以及倒数第二段“Drones, which spray and spread fertilizers and seeds evenly and efficiently, save farmers time and money, so that less is wasted. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 I immediately looked at Nora. She was standing by the window, her usual reading spot. Our eyes met, and for a moment, I saw a softness in her eyes that I had never noticed before. I rushed over to her, holding the notebook tightly. Words of gratitude tumbled out of my mouth. “Nora, I... I don’t know how to thank you. This means the world to me.” She smiled gently, a bit shyly, and said, “It’s okay. I knew you’d be in trouble with the missed lessons, so I thought I’d help.” It turned out that during my illness, Nora was specially taking notes for me. She had been observing me all along, aware of my struggles with physics. She sacrificed her own study time to make sure I wouldn’t fall behind. I felt a deep sense of shame for my previous thoughts about her. I realized how wrong I was to judge her so harshly. From then on, I made a vow to get to know her better. Our friendship grew from that day on, and I discovered a warm-hearted and kind-soul beneath her quiet exterior. 词汇激活 行为类 ①注意:notice/spot ②快步冲向:rush/ dash ③意识到:realize/ come to know 情绪类 ①感激:gratitude/ thankfulness ② 愧疚:shame/ remorse 【点睛】【高分句型1】Our eyes met, and for a moment, I saw a softness in her eyes that I had never noticed before.(运用了that引导的定语从句) 【高分句型2】She sacrificed her own study time to make sure I wouldn’t fall behind.(运用了省略that的宾语从句) 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $该部分分为第一第二两节。 So you really heard no idea about tonight?
