In September, 2023, the Cultural Landscape of Old Tea Forests of Jingmai Mountain in Pu’er (普洱景迈山古茶林文化景观) became a part of the UNESCO World Heritage List (《世界遗产名录》). It is China’s 57th World Heritage site. It’s also the first tea culture World Heritage Site.
