典例1
The Crow and the Pitcher
It was a hot day. A crow felt so thirsty that he looked for water everywhere. Finally, he found a pitcher. But there wasn't much water in it. So his beak couldn't reach it.
When he wanted to give up, he came up with an idea. He picked up a small stone and dropped it into the pitcher. Then he took another and dropped it in. Gradually, the water rose and he was able to drink the water.
How clever the crow was!
典例2
My Favourite Story
My favourite story is The Fox and the Crow.
Once upon a time, there was a fox and a crow living in the forest. One day, the crow got a piece of meat. The fox found it and he wanted to get the meat, so he pretended to be friends with the crow and said a lot of beautiful words to the crow. The crow was so happy that she opened her mouth to sing a song, but as soon as she opened her mouth, the meat fell onto the ground and the fox got it. He ate the meat at once and then went away. The hungry crow felt very sad for that.
I like this story because it is interesting and meaningful. It tells us that we should never believe the person who says nice words to us and wants to cheat us.
