一般过去时——基本结构
1.肯定句:主语 + 动词过去式
2.be动词:was/were
3.实义动词:walked, went, did, became
4.否定句:主语 + didn’t + 动词原形
5.疑问句:Did + 主语 + 动词原形?
一般过去时——例句
1.He became a famous pioneer when he was young.
2.They worked hard to help the poor.
3.She lived a simple life all her life.
4.Did he help others when he was a child?
5.He didn’t give up when he met difficulties.
过去进行时——核心含义
1.表示过去某一时刻/某段时间正在进行的动作
2.强调动作持续、未完成
3.常搭配:at that time, at 8:00 last night, when…
例句:I was reading at 8 last night.
翻译:昨晚八点我正在看书
过去进行时——基本结构
1.肯定句:主语 + was/were + doing
2.单数主语(I/he/she/it) → was doing
3.复数主语(we/you/they) → were doing
4.否定句:was/were not + doing
5.疑问句:Was/Were + 主语 + doing?
过去进行时——例句
1.He was working hard to help others all his life.
2.They were studying the hero’s story at that time.
3.She was helping people when I saw her.
4.Were you listening to the teacher just now?
5.He wasn’t playing when others were working.
一般过去时 vs 过去进行时(对比)
1.一般过去时:短动作、已完成、一次性
2.过去进行时:长动作、在进行、持续性
3.记忆口诀:长进行,短过去
对比:He came.(过去时)
对比:He was coming.(进行时)
连接词 when 用法
1.句式:长动作(过去进行) + when + 短动作(一般过去)
2.含义:一个动作打断另一个正在进行的动作
例句:I was sleeping when the bell rang.
翻译:铃响的时候,我正在睡觉
关键词:打断、突然发生
连接词 while 用法
1.句式:前后都用过去进行时
2.含义:两个长动作同时持续发生
例句:While I was doing homework, she was reading.
翻译:我做作业时,她在看书

1.含义:随着……;一边……一边……
2.强调动作同步、伴随变化
3.常搭配:time went by, grow older
