在句子中独立使用,相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”,其后不能接名词。
例:My ping-pong bat is broken. Could I use yours?
我的乒乓球拍坏了。我可以用你的吗?
在句中可作主语、宾语、表语等。作主语时,谓语动词的单复数形式由名词性物主代词所指代的名词的数来决定。
例:Your badminton racket is here. His is over there.
你的羽毛球拍在这里,他的在那边。
名词性物主代词的用法
频度副词是用来表示动作发生频率的副词,常用来回答“How often...?”引导的问句。
•频度副词:often, usually, seldom, hardly ever, never, always, never
•频度副词词组: once/twice/three times a week, twice a day, once a month, …
•表示具体的频率时,通常用once a week(一周一次)、twice amonth(一个月两次)、three times a year(一年三次)等。
例:—How often do you clean your room? 你多久打扫一次房间?
—Twice a week. 一周两次。
频度副词
频度副词的位置
频度副词一般放在实义动词之前,系动词be、助动词/情态动词之后。有时为了表示强调,频度副词也可位于句首。never、hardly ever、seldom等表示否定意义的词(组)位于句首时,句子要用倒装语序。
例:I can never forget the sports meeting. 我永远不会忘记那次运动会。
