What is Hannah’s friend’s problem?
Did he give up?
How does Hannah’s friend feel about those kids now? Why
What should we learn to face peer pressure?
He has loved ballet since childhood, but kids made fun of him
No,he didn’t.
He feels thankful to those kids.Because they made him practice harder.
Hannah (Host): Welcome back. Our next message comes from Colin. He was worried about his special hobby.
Here's my reply: Colin, I understand your feelings. Let me first share a story with you.
My friend has loved ballet since childhood. But many kids at his school made fun of him. He was very sad and wanted to give up. Luckily, he didn't. Today, he's a successful ballet dancer. But you know what? He's actually thankful to those kids because their jokes made him practise harder.
So, here's my advice to you: Don't let peer pressure beat you. Believe in yourself and share your hobby with your friends. Real friends won't laugh at you. Just follow your heart.
Good luck, Colin.

Most of my classmates chose math and science courses, but I was more interested in art.
They said art was "useless" and tried to make me change my choice.
They wanted me to wear trendy clothes like them, but I preferred comfortable sports wear.
I felt pressured to buy expensive brands to fit in.
My friends all joined the dance club and kept asking me to join too, but I liked painting more.
I was afraid they would think I was "not cool" if I didn't join their club.

B: What happened?
A: All of them started wearing expensive brand-name sneakers运动鞋, and they kept teasing戏弄 me for wearing my old, plain朴素的 shoes. They said I looked “out of style”.
B: How did you solve the problem?
A: I told them that comfort and what I like matter more than brands. I also pointed out that our friendship shouldn’t depend on what we wear. Eventually, they stopped making fun of me, and some even started wearing simpler shoes too.

B: What happened?
A: All my friends were joining the basketball club because it was the most popular one. But I really wanted to join the chess club, since I love strategy games. I was afraid they’d think I was “not cool” if I didn’t follow them.
B: How did you solve the problem?
A: I told them how passionate I was about chess and asked if they’d come to a chess club meeting with me. They agreed, and even though they didn’t join, they thought it was interesting. We still hang out after school, and they never made fun of my choice again.

B: What happened?

B: How did you solve the problem?
