Dear Mr. Wang,
I'm Li Hua. I'm writing to apply for participating in the English debate during the English Culture Week.
I choose to support the opposite view-"We shouldn't always stick to the same hobby." First, exploring new hobbies helps develop various skills and avoids boredom. Second, it broadens our horizons and enriches life experiences. For example, trying painting or dancing can inspire creativity beyond our comfort zones.
I want to join because debates improve English expression and critical thinking. I love challenges and hope to contribute to our class.
I hope you can give me a chance.
Yours,
Li Hua
