On April 1st, my parents took me to Xi’an. It was my first trip to Xi’an. We took the train G653 from Beijing. It took us six hours to get to Xi’an. We walked out of the train station at 1:40 in the afternoon and went to the hotel.
On the second day, we got up early, had a quick breakfast, and began our trip. When we saw the Terra-cotta Warriors, I was totally amazed. They looked so real, like they could come to life at any moment. We took a lot of photos there. We visited the Shaanxi History Museum in the afternoon. Wesaw a lot of ancient (古老的) things on show. There I learned a lot about Xi’an and our country.
On the third day, we climbed the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. I found the two places to be really wonderful. Then we went shopping. We wanted to buy something meaningful and special for my grandparents. The things weren’t expensive (昂贵的), so we bought a lot. And we ate some food like roujiamo and liangpi. Everything was delicious.
We got back to Beijing on the morning of April 4th. Xi’an is beautiful and ancient. The places of interest in Xi’an are great, and the people there are friendly. I want to go to Xi’an again in the future.
