When did you last spend time in nature? Maybe you were just lying on the ground, watching birds fly from tree to tree. The research shows that we get big health benefits from spending time in natural spaces.
Nature not only improves people’s attention, but also improves their mental (心理的) health in other ways. People in cities are more likely to experience mood disorders (情绪障碍) than those living in the countryside. Sonja Sudimac, a German scientist, wanted to know why.
Sudimac invited some young adults for this study. They had their brains scanned (扫描) in a machine. While in the machine, they answered questions about how much they thought about negative things. They also viewed photos of people who looked fearful. Later, they went out for a 60-minute walk. Half walked in a forest. The other half walked down a busy city street. Then they went back for more brain scans.
The results showed the stress level of test-takers who were scanned after their hour-long walk in the city remained the same. But it dropped in people who had walked through the forest.
Nature can provide amazing health benefits. To keep getting those benefits, we need to protect as much green space as we can—taking care of it, so it can take care of us. Sometimes we can’t make it outside. But being able to view green space from windows is still good for us.

Duan can always recognize (认出) her easily. She has watched the tiger grow up from when she was still a baby to the time she became old enough to leave her mother.
Duan works at a scientific research center. She has a very special job, making cards for Siberian tigers. With the help of about 5,000 cameras put in the wild, she checks hundreds of pictures on the computer every day. Then she records and compares them patiently. And the information is put in the “ID cards”, including each tiger’s patterns, activity areas, eating habits, and so on.

So far, China has successfully sent a large number of satellites (卫星) and spaceships into space. Space scientists have been greatly inspired by the old stories and ancient famous people when giving them names.
Since thousands of years ago, Chinese people have dreamed of going to the moon. Chang’e Flies to the Moon is one of the most popular stories. As you can see, China’s first man-made satellite to circle around the moon was named Chang’e 1. More interestingly, the moon rover (巡视器) was named after the Jade Rabbit, who is the partner of Chang’e in the story. These old stories carry people’s best wishes and dreams. With the development of science and technology, our scientists have made them come true.
Kua Fu Runs After the Sun is another story to show how much ancient Chinese people wanted to know about the unknown world. Now, Kua Fu is going with the scientists to “visit” the sun, because we have a space project called Kua Fu Mission.
Besides ancient stories, space scientists also get ideas from ancient famous people. For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2,000 years ago. His discovery made space study take a big step at that time. So China’s first quantum (量子) science satellite was named Mozi.
From such simple things as giving names to the satellites, we can see how great our traditional culture is and what influence it has on our modern science and technology.

A. By giving reasons only. B. By telling stories in time order.
C. By giving examples and showing opinions. D. By comparing different countries’ satellites.
70. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage?
A. The Kua Fu Mission is about studying the sun.
B. The Jade Rabbit is the name of a moon storybook.
C. Mozi lived about 200 years ago.
D. Ancient stories have nothing to do with modern science.
71. Why was China’s first quantum science satellite named Mozi?
A. Because Mozi was good at traveling in space.
B. Because Mozi discovered light travels in a straight line.
C. Because Mozi had a dream of flying to the moon.
D. Because Mozi wrote many old stories about space.
72. What is the writer’s purpose in writing this passage?
A. To tell us several interesting ancient Chinese stories.
B. To introduce how China’s space projects are named.
C. To show how to send satellites and spaceships into space.
D. To explain why ancient people wanted to know about the sun.

Duan Lianru doesn’t remember how many times she has met the “Miss Photogenic”. The wild Siberian tiger (西伯利亚虎) seems to have put on a little weight recently.
What Duan is doing is part of China’s efforts to protect Siberian tigers. These tigers mainly live in Russia’s Far East and Northeast China. They’re one of the world’s most endangered animals.
To save them, China has set up the Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park, which has an area of over 14,000 square kilometers and spans (横跨) Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. Thanks to people like Duan, the number of wild Siberian tigers in the park is now about seventy. And they also live longer.
“I hope that humans and wild animals can live together peacefully and that nature will become more beautiful,” Duan said.

69. How is the passage organized?
