A
短文第一句“Join us on an exciting 5-day adventure(冒险) to the Amazon Rainforest!”
根据短文第一段中的“It’s the largest rainforest on the earth.” It’s larger than any other rainforest on the earth是原文“largest”的同义改写,表意完全一致,因此B为正确答案。
A选项:原文提到在亚马逊可以看到playful monkeys and colourful birds,并未提及熊猫,熊猫并不生活在亚马逊雨林,属于偷换概念,排除;
C选项:原文提到Search for hidden(隐藏的) treasures in the jungle,寻宝是在丛林中进行,并非亚马逊河上,偷换了地点,排除;
This journey is perfect for young people like you,且活动本身是户外探险旅行,因此爱好旅行的年轻人最可能对活动感兴趣。
A选项:13岁的Amy爱好跳舞,和探险旅行的属性不匹配,排除;
C选项:63岁的Lee不符合原文“适合年轻人”的活动定位,且爱好下棋和活动无关,排除;
A选项:A story(故事)一般包含完整的人物、情节发展,本文没有叙事结构,不符合,排除;
B选项:A letter(书信)有固定的称呼、落款等格式,本文没有相关结构,不符合,排除;
根据第一段中的“I guess I rode over a hole in the road.”
A选项:卡车司机是后来救助作者的人,并没有撞作者,属于偷换概念,排除;
C选项:尖石头只是扎进了头盔,作者没有被石头砸伤,属于偷换概念,排除;
B选项含义为“摸起来又圆又软”,不符合语境,排除;
C选项含义为“又大又重”,不符合语境,排除;
作者之前并不总是戴头盔,经历这次事故后,原文最后提到“But I’ll never be careless again...My bicycle helmet saved my life!”,可以推断出这次事故彻底改变了作者对戴头盔的态度,以后一定会坚持骑行时戴头盔,因此A选项正确。
B选项:作者只是在骑车时回想昨天的棒球比赛,无法推出他对棒球赛不感兴趣,属于无中生有,排除;
C选项:全文仅提到作者这次在河边骑车出事故,没有说他以后再也不在河边骑车,属于过度推断,排除;
A选项:作者并没有围绕“骑车都有隐藏危险”展开,偏离核心主旨,排除;
B选项:骑车时想比赛只是本次事故的背景,不是作者想要传达的核心观点,属于以偏概全,排除;
整个故事围绕“头盔救了作者的命”展开,结尾通过“My bicycle helmet saved my life!”
A选项:“一个美好的午后”只是故事发生的背景,不是全文核心,排除;
B选项:“一位好心的卡车司机”,司机只是帮助作者的配角,不是故事核心,排除;
根据第二段中的“As we grow up, we learn how to understand how we are feeling.
A选项:和朋友争论是原文开头提到的可能让人难过的场景,和情绪意识的定义无关,属于偷换概念,排除;
C选项:控制大脑中的化学物质,属于混淆第三段cortisol的相关内容,不符合定义,排除;
第三段中的“However, if we feel too stressed then we have too much cortisol in our brains and it’s difficult to sleep.”和C选项It will make it hard for us to get a good sleep是同义改写,因此C为正确答案。
A选项:给身体提供能量是正常水平皮质醇的好处,不是过量皮质醇的影响,偷换限定条件,排除;
B选项:帮助建立良好人际关系是情绪意识的作用,不是皮质醇的影响,属于混淆概念,排除;
A选项:根据第二段中的“Babies and children show their emotions by laughing or crying because they can’t say what they feel”可知,婴儿无法用语言清晰表达感受,选项表述和原文相反,排除;
C选项:根据最后一段中的“Empathy and emotional awareness are important for all relationships—at home, at school and at work when we are older.”可知,情绪意识和共情对所有关系都很重要,排除;
D选项:原文第三段提到“When we feel strong emotions or we are stressed there are chemicals(化学物质) in our brains(大脑) that can make us feel happy, angry or sad.
A选项:原文从未提到任何科学实验,属于无中生有,排除;
C选项:作者只是分别介绍情绪意识和共情两个概念,并没有对二者进行对比,不符合原文写作逻辑,排除;
A选项:原文没有介绍处理坏情绪的具体方法,只是强调理解情绪的重要性,属于无中生有,排除;
B选项:作者只是分别介绍两种能力,全文没有对两者的差异进行对比,不符合写作内容,排除;
由空后的“Mostly it’s about being able to take care of yourself, to make decisions on your own and take on responsibility(责任) for the things in your life. It doesn’t mean you have to do everything alone, though.”
由空前的“Don’t feel pressure to do everything all at once.”(不要因为想要一下子做完所有事而倍感压力)可知,这里想表达的是培养独立不要急于求成,要循序渐进。
空格后一句为“A big part of becoming more independent is believing you can make decisions, try new things on your own and think for yourself.”(变得独立很重要的一部分,就是相信你可以自己做决定、自己尝试新事物、独立思考),直接点出了“相信自己”的核心。
remember(记得)、forget(忘记)、avoid(避免)都不符合语境。
smart(精明的)、clever(聪明的)、kind(善良的)都不符合作者对自己青春期行为的评价逻辑。
know(知道)、see(看见)、hear(听见)都不符合这种矛盾心态。
so(所以,引出结果)、but(但是,表转折)、or(或者,表选择)都不符合两句的因果逻辑关系。
even(甚至)、still(仍然)、ever(曾经)都不符合语境。
hate(讨厌)、read(读)、write(写)都不符合语境,因此选C。
idea(想法)、word(单词)、story(故事)都不能概括前文的一系列具体行为,因此选B。
interesting(有趣的)、exciting(令人兴奋的)、surprising(令人惊讶的)都无法推出“想要与众不同”这个结果,因此选C。
discussion(讨论)、decision(决定)、competition(竞争)都不符合语境,因此选A。
helpful(有帮助的)、lovely(可爱的)、sad(伤心的)都不符合作者的态度逻辑,因此选C。
get(得到)、educate(教育)、find(找到)都不符合语境,因此选A。
actor(演员)、doctor(医生)、student(学生)都不符合这种“介于孩子和成人之间”的定位,因此选C。
appear(显得)符合语境;ask(要求)、look(看起来)、sound(听起来)都不符合语境,因此选A。
本文的核心主旨就是“中二病是成长的一部分”,文章结尾也明确点出“It is just part of growing up”,grow up(成长)完全符合主旨呼应。set up(建立)、stand up(站起来)、put up(搭建/张贴)都不符合语境,因此选A。
be hard on sb. happy(开心的)、lucky(幸运的)、sorry(抱歉的)都不符合语境,因此选D。
sth. happen to sb.
47. is 考查be动词。
remember to do sth.“记得做某事”,不定式结构作remember的宾语。
51. What’s the result of the survey
52. Both boys and girls enjoy playing table tennis/They both like playing table tennis
53. Because you can learn about new things and develop new skills/Because hobbies bring you happiness/Because hobbies are fun
54. By the way, what’s your hobby/What’s your hobby
55. That’s special and your hobby helps the whole family/That’s special/That’s interesting

I developed this hobby when I was little. My mum often read interesting stories to me before bed, and I fell in love with reading quickly. Now I keep reading for 30 minutes every night.
I love reading because it takes me to different fantastic worlds and helps me get new knowledge. It also makes me relaxed after a busy school day.
I hope I can read more classic books in the future, and I dream of being a writer to share my own stories one day.

(原创)It was a beautiful afternoon. I was riding my bicycle by the river, thinking about yesterday’s baseball game. I guess I rode over a hole in the road. All of a sudden, WHAM! I went down hard on my right side. It really hurt!
My head hit the ground. I lay there for a few minutes. I tried to get up, but I couldn’t! “There’s something wrong with me,” I thought. I felt so terrible that I lay down again. Then I saw blood on my shoe. My hand and leg were bleeding. There was an ugly cut on my knee. I was in a lot of pain.
As I lay there, I took off my helmet. There was a sharp rock sticking out of it. It was pretty scary to look at. Thank goodness I wore my helmet! I shouted for help. A driver stopped his truck and came to help me. He put my bike in the back of his truck and drove me to the hospital.
When my mother got to the hospital, she gave me a big hug and kiss. “You were wearing your helmet this time. How lucky you were!” she said. She knew I was careless and did not always wear my helmet.

(原创)We can feel different things on different days. Sometimes we feel sad because we had an argument with a friend and sometimes we feel worried about something. It’s important to understand our feelings and learn how to show them so that we don’t make our friends, our family and ourselves sad.
Babies and children show their emotions by laughing or crying because they can’t say what they feel and why. As we grow up, we learn how to understand how we are feeling. This is called emotional awareness(意识). It also helps us have good relationships with other people.
When we feel strong emotions or we are stressed there are chemicals(化学物质) in our brains(大脑) that can make us feel happy, angry or sad. This chemical is called cortisol. It can be good for us because it gives us energy. However, if we feel too stressed then we have too much cortisol in our brains and it’s difficult to sleep.
When you see your friends, you might be able to work out what they are feeling by their faces. It’s good to think about how other people are feeling too. For example, if your friend is sad that he didn’t get onto the football team and you are sad with him, you are sharing his sadness—this is called empathy. Have you ever seen that your dad is angry when he has to tidy your things? If you think about how your dad feels and understand that he’s doing extra work and why he might feel angry...that’s also empathy.
Empathy and emotional awareness are important for all relationships—at home, at school and at work when we are older. It helps you understand more about the people and the world around you.

16 Mostly it’s about being able to take care of yourself, to make decisions on your own and take on responsibility(责任) for the things in your life. It doesn’t mean you have to do everything alone, though.
17 Children who are used to doing tasks by themselves are often more likely to try new things, and do better when things don’t go their way. Psychiatrist(精神科医生) Dr Priya Nathwani says, “As we grow up, it is important to be able to manage feelings and situations by ourselves. This helps us become more confident about the world around us.” Being independent also helps build up your self-esteem(自尊) and can make you feel less nervous.
“Children can become more independent by trying new activities or solving problems by yourself,” says Dr Nathwani. “Ask your parents or teacher to let you practise a skill on your own, something they may have helped you with before. If you don’t succeed the first time, try again.” 18
Don’t feel pressure to do everything all at once. 19 If you’re feeling worried or are finding things difficult, speak to someone you trust or ask for help. 20 A big part of becoming more independent is believing you can make decisions, try new things on your own and think for yourself.

Hi Jim,
Home is often 46 best place to learn about responsibility.
Yes, rest 47 important, but what does it really mean? Is it playing video games all day? Is it watching videos on your phone? 48 is it taking a walk or playing sports?
