Part2 单元语法沙龙
一、if 引导的条件状语从句
在句子中作条件状语的从句称为条件状语从句,可置于句首或句尾。通常由if(如果)、as long as(只要)、unless(除非)来引导。本单元主要讲解if 引导的条件状语从句。
考点:时态
if 引导条件状语从句时,时态遵循“三原则”:主将从现、主情从现、主祈从现。
1.主将从现(主句将来时,从句一般现在时)
例: If you practise calligraphy every day, you will improve your handwriting soon.如果你每天练习书法,很快就能提高书写水平。
2. 主情从现(主句含情态动词 can/may/must 等,从句一般现在时)
例:If we don’t save water now, we may face water shortages in the future. 如果我们现在不节约用水,未来可能会面临水资源短缺。
3. 主祈从现(主句是祈使句,从句一般现在时)
例:Call me at once if you find the lost key to the classroom.如果你找到丢失的教室钥匙,立刻给我打电话。
if 引导从句时需注意:
1. 区分“条件从句”与“宾语从句”:if 表“是否”时引导宾语从句(常跟在 know/ask/wonder 等词后),时态需结合语境,而非“主将从现”。
例:I don’t know if my mom will buy me a new book.(宾语从句,表“是否”)我不知道妈妈是否会给我买一本新书。
2. 不可与“or/otherwise”一起使用:if 已表条件,无需再加“否则”类词汇,如错误表达为“If you don’t hurry, or you’ll be late.”,应删去“or”。
二、because 引导的原因状语从句
在句中作原因状语的从句称为原因状语从句,可置于句首,也可置于句尾。引导词有because、since、as、now (that)等。本单元主要讲解because 引导的原因状语从句。
考点:用法
because 表直接、必然的原因,且表因果关系的语气最强,用来回答why 的问句,所引出的原因往往是听话人所不知道或最感兴趣的,because 引导的原因状语从句往往显得比主句更重要。because 从句可位于主句前(需加逗号)或主句后(无需逗号)。
例:She bought a new camera because she wants to record beautiful moments during her trip.她买了一台新相机,因为她想记录旅行中的美好瞬间。
Because the library was closed, we went to the café to finish our homework.因为图书馆关门了,我们便去咖啡馆完成了作业。
because 引导原因状语从句时需注意:不可与“so”连用:because 和 so 均为连词,表“因果”时只需用一个,如:Because he got up late, he missed the bus. 或He got up late, so he missed the bus.

Qian Xuesen—the hero in my heart
Qian Xuesen was a famous scientist in the world. He was born in Shanghai in 1911. People respect him as “the Father of China’s Aerospace” because of his huge influence on China’s aerospace development.
Qian Xuesen earned his doctor’s degree in the US in 1939. He tried to come back to China in 1950, but the US government stopped him. He finally returned in 1955 and devoted his life to his motherland’s aerospace cause.
To me, Qian Xuesen is a true hero. His love for the country and his spirit of never giving up inspire me to study hard and make contributions to our motherland one day.
