I Met a More Confident Me
I used to be a shy student. I never dared to speak in front of the class.
Last month, our English class held a textbook play show. My group members asked me to join them. I was very nervous, but I decided to have a try. I practiced
my lines every day after class. Finally, our show was successful. My teacher and classmates said I did a good job.

【高分范文】
I Met a More Confident Me
I used to be so shy that I was afraid to speak in front of my classmates, and I never put up my hand to answer questions.
Last month, our teacher organized a textbook play competition. Though I was nervous, my group members encouraged me to play a role, so I made up my mind to challenge myself. I spent much time practicing my lines, and I repeated my expressions again and again. In the end, our group won first prize. What surprised me most was that my teacher and classmates spoke highly of my performance.
This experience not only helped me get out of my shyness, but also let me meet a more confident me. I
learned that only by bravely trying can we become better.
