two years now.
Robert: Wow! What do you do there?
Rosa: Well, I clean the cages and feed the animals ... And I look after the new dogs. Some of them are in poor condition and need more care! And I collect donations for the shelter too.

Exercises
二、阅读理解
Living in a city for one day with just one yuan seems impossible, but 60 students from Xi'an accepted this challenge, including Beijing.
To face the challenge, some students thought of many ways to earn money. They looked for part-time jobs. Zhang Qiyue, who is 14 years old, asked more than 10 restaurants for a job before finally getting a job as a waiter. "I felt worried when I was refused, but I got used to it slowly," he said. After working for eight hours in a day, he earned 200 yuan.
Others made use of their artistic abilities in public. Zhao Jiacheng, another 14-year-old student, successfully sold his handmade paper crafts and drawings. "This experience showed that it's important to develop a special skill," he said.
The money from this event will help poor schools in Xizang. As the activity spreads to more cities, more students have learned important lessons about never giving up and being creative. This challenge shows that with hard work and skills, young people can solve difficult problems.
