Guanqian Street is one of the most famous shopping areas in Suzhou. Lying in the center of Suzhou’s old town, the street is a place where history and modern life dance together.
In the Song Dynasty (960—1279), the street was called “Tianqingguan Street” because of the temple’s (庙) old name. Later, during the Yuan Dynasty (1271—1368), people started calling it “Guanqian Street”. In the 1930s, the street became wider. After 1949, it was rebuilt with asphalt (柏油). How is everything going? I’m sorry to hear that you are feeling stressed these days. Here is some advice for you.
Why don’t you read fantasy books like Alice in Wonderland? Good fantasy stories take you to worlds full of magic and help you forget your worries. How about enjoying beautiful landscapes with your family members? Energy from nature is good for your body and mind. Or just try to keep a parrot.
