4.动词现在分词的变化规则
(1)一般情况下,直接在动词之后+ing。
(2)以不发音的e结尾的动词,去e再加ing。

短暂性动词指动作极为短暂,瞬间结束。
如:start、begin、hit、jump、knock等。
2.when引导的时间状语从句
when
When we were singing, she came in.
It was raining when we arrived at the station.
when既指时间点,又指时间段;
when引导的时间状语从句中的动词可以是短暂性动词,也可以是延续性动词;
when引导的时间状语从句常用一般过去时,也可以用过去进行时。
3.while引导的时间状语从句
while
while只表示一段时间;
while引导的时间状语从句中的动词必须是延续性动词;
注意:强调从句和主句的动作同时发生,两句都用过去进行时,多用while引导从句。
