One morning in May, it rains heavily. On their way to school, they see a small bird on the road. It is wet and weak, and it cannot move at all.
The two boys are very kind. They feel sorry for the little bird. Peter holds it in his hands to keep it safe. Mike holds his umbrella over the bird to keep it dry. Then they take the poor bird home and tell their parents. Their parents call the forestry office(林业站) right away.
