This term, some schools have big changes both for students and teachers—they use AI to improve learning.
By using AI to create personalized (个性化的) exercises and exams, teachers at the school can choose their teaching methods for each student’s needs.
After students finish studying a lesson, teachers use AI to pick different questions from an online database (数据库). This helps make a set of exercises for the lesson, helping students go over their knowledge.
“With these special learning exercises by AI, we don’t need to carry all the heavy exercise books anymore,” said the 14-year-old He Liyan.
Students answer the exercise questions on answer sheets. Teachers collect these sheets, scan (扫描) them into an AI system for grades. The AI creates numbers and graphics (图形) that help teachers understand each student’s study as well as how the whole class is doing overall.
“Our teacher no longer explains all the questions one by one. Instead, she looks at the common mistakes and provides one-on-one help for every one of us,” said the 15-year-old Wang Dinghan.
