My Project: Explore Good Books and Share Reading Joy
My name is Li Hua. I am in Grade 8. Last month, our English teacher asked us to do a Project called "Explore Good Books and Share Reading Joy". Our goal was to find out different types of good books, record our reading feelings, and share our findings to help everyone fall in love with reading.
At first, I didn’t know how to choose good books and take reading notes. For the Project, I joined a group of four classmates. We went to the school library to borrow books, asked our teacher for recommendations, and shared our reading progress every week. We found that there are many kinds of good books, such as novels, storybooks and science books, and each type can bring us different joys.
We also made a reading handbook, which includes book recommendations, reading tips and our reading notes. We wrote down how to choose suitable books and how to take useful notes to help our classmates read better. When we showed our handbook to the class, our teacher praised us for our hard work and said it was helpful for everyone.
Through this Project, I learned a lot about reading and realized that sharing reading joy can make happiness double. I hope more people can explore good books and enjoy the pleasure of reading.
