One possible version:
Dear Tommy,
How are you going? I'm writing to invite you to my hometown, Suqian. I'll tell you something about it and some of the interesting things we'll do when you come here.
Suqian is a beautiful and modern city in the north of Jiangsu Province. There are many flowers and trees around it. We can smell flowers and hear birds singing everywhere.
I live on the 20th floor in a tall building. My favorite room is my bedroom, because I can read books and listen to music quietly here. My neighbors are kind and helpful. They often help us with all kinds of problems. I'm very lucky to live in such a great neighborhood.
There are many things to see and do here. First, Xiangyu's Hometown is well worth a visit. We can get a taste of the long history. Second, we can taste lots of delicious local food. Also, we can make handicrafts, such as paper-cuttings and Chinese lanterns. We can also take a walk in beautiful parks and enjoy fresh air.
I hope you can come to Suqian soon. I'm looking forward to seeing you!
Yours sincerely,
Sandy
