write about your favorite way to keep fit
1. 介绍你最喜欢的健身方式是什么(如跑步、游泳、跳绳、打篮球等);
2. 说明你为什么喜欢这种方式(它有趣、简单、有效,还是给你带来了什么好处);
TASK: Write a letter to the school magazine editor to recommend your favorite way to keep fit and encourage others to try it.

· You don’t need to do a lot at first. You can start with... minutes a day.
· I really hope you can give it a try.
Dear Editor,
I am writing to share my favorite way to keep fit with you and your readers. My favorite way to exercise is jumping rope.
Jumping rope is very easy to do. All you need is a piece of rope and a small open space. You can do it in your bedroom, in the yard, or on the playground. It doesn’t cost much money, and you don’t need to go to a gym.
I like jumping rope for three reasons. First, it is fun. I like the rhythm of the rope hitting the ground and the feeling of jumping over it again and again. Second, it really works. Since I started jumping rope for 15 minutes every day, I have become stronger and more energetic. I used to get tired easily in PE class, but now I can run faster and longer. Third, it helps me grow taller. The doctor said jumping is good for my bones.
I really hope you can give it a try. You don’t need to do a lot at first. Start with 5 minutes a day, then slowly add more time. I am sure you will enjoy it and feel the difference.
Yours sincerely,
Zhang Wei
1. 指出同学们目前的问题(课间不活动、长时间坐着、缺乏运动);
2. 说明课间活动的好处(放松大脑、保持健康、更有精神上课);
TASK: Write a proposal to call on your schoolmates to do some activities during class breaks to keep fit.
· Do you stay in your seat during every class break?
· Many of us sit for hours without moving our bodies.
· This is not good for our health or our studies.
· Our bodies need to move. Our brains also need a rest.
· A few minutes of activity can make a big difference.
· Here are some simple things you can do during breaks.
· First, get up and take a short walk to the window or to the hallway.
· Second, do some easy stretches to relax your neck and back.
· Third, play a simple game with a friend, like throwing a small ball.
· Let’s make good use of our break time. Move a little, feel better.
Proposal: Move During Class Breaks
Dear fellow students,
Think about your day at school. You sit in class for 45 minutes. Then the bell rings for a 10-minute break. What do you do? Many of us stay in our seats. Some take out their phones. Others put their heads down on the desk. Then we sit for another 45 minutes. By the end of the day, we have been sitting for hours without moving our bodies. This is not good for our health. Sitting too long can make our backs hurt, our eyes tired, and our brains slow.
But the good news is that we can change this very easily. Our bodies need to move, even just a little. Our brains also need a short rest to work better. A few minutes of activity during break time can help us feel more energetic and focus better in the next class. Movement also helps our bones grow strong and keeps us from getting too tired.
Here are three simple things you can do during the next break. First, get up from your seat and take a short walk. Go to the window and look outside, or walk to the water fountain and back. Second, do some easy stretches. Reach your arms up high, roll your shoulders, and gently turn your neck. Third, play a simple game with a friend. You can throw a small ball back and forth or play a quick game of rock-paper-scissors. You don’t need special equipment or a lot of space. Just move a little. Let’s make good use of our break time and keep our bodies and minds healthy!
