八年级下册Unit 6 Crossing cultures 单元语法：so…that.. ；unless； as soon as 引导的状语从句 状语从句就是用一个有完整主谓结构的句子在主句中充当状语，相当于一个加长版的副词，用来修饰主句的动词、形容词或整个句子；用来表达时间、原因、条件、让步、目的、结果、比较、方式和地点等逻辑关系。 一、so… that … /such….that…/so that 引导的状语从句辨析 1、so…that… 结构 含义：如此…… 以至于……（表结果）公式： so + 形容词 / 副词 + that + 从句 so + 形容词 + a/an + 单数名词 + that + 从句 例如： He is so tired that he can’t walk.他如此累，以至于走不动了。 She runs so fast that no one can catch up with her.她跑得如此快，没人能追上她。 It is so interesting a book that I read it twice.这本书如此有趣，我读了两遍。 2、such…that… 结构 如此…… 以至于……（表结果） such + (a/an) + 形容词 + 名词 + that + 从句 例如： It is such a good movie that I want to watch it again. 这是一部如此好的电影，我想再看一遍。 They are such kind people that everyone likes them. 他们是如此善良的人，所有人都喜欢他们。 It was such bad weather that we had to stay at home.天气如此糟糕，我们只好待在家里。 3、so that 结构 为了、以便 例如： I get up early so that I can catch the bus.我早起为了能赶上公交车。表目的（最常用） The rain was heavy so that we missed the train.雨下得很大，结果我们错过了火车。（表结果） 【注意】当名词前被 much、many、little、few 等词修饰数量多少时，只能用 so，不能用 such。 例句： You can’t spend so much time on computer games.你不能在电脑游戏上花费这么多时间。 There are so many students in the classroom.教室里有这么多学生。 He has so few friends here.他在这儿的朋友这么少。 She has so little time to rest.她几乎没有什么时间休息。 二、so…that… 结果状语从句，可与 too…to…（太…… 而不能……）、not…enough to…（不够…… 而不能……） 两种句型同义互换。 例句：The bag is so heavy that he can't carry it.这个包如此沉，以至于他提不动。 1. 转换成 too…to… 句型 The bag is too heavy for him to carry.这个包太重了，提不动。 2. 转换成 not…enough to… 句型 The bag is not light enough to carry.这个包不够轻，提不动。 三、unless 意为除非；如果不，用来引导条件状语从句。 时态规则：若主句是一般将来时、祈使句，或是主句含有情态动词时，unless 从句要用一般现在时表将来。 例句1：Unless it is windy tomorrow, we will go hiking. 如果明天不刮风，我们就去徒步。 例句2：Don’t go out unless you put on more clothes. 除非你多穿点衣服，否则不要出门。 同义转换：unless 在多数情况下 = if…not（如果不），可以互相改写。 例句转换： Unless you study hard, you won’t pass the exam. = If you don’t study hard, you won’t pass the exam.如果你不努力学习，就不能通过考试。 四、as soon as 意为“一…… 就……”引导时间状语从句。遵循主将从现：主句为一般将来时，从句用一般现在时表将来。 例如： I will call you as soon as I arrive in Beijing.我一到北京就给你打电话。 He ran out as soon as the bell rang.铃声一响，他就跑了出去。 语法专项练习 【基础过关】 一、选择题 1．As soon as the travelers ________ off the train, they phoned their relatives.
