3.besides adv.而且。引出另一种情况,以作补充。可用于句首、句尾,也可用于句中,常用逗号与句子其他成分隔开;besides还可作介词,意为 “除……以外,还有”。

4.disappoint v.使失望。相当于let… down,后接名词或代词作宾语。

【拓展】hard的常见用法
(1)作形容词,表示 “坚硬的,坚固的,结实的”。

(2)作形容词,表示 “难的,不易的,艰苦的”。
