My Favorite Natural Wonder
My favorite natural wonder is Qomolangma.
It is the highest mountain in the world, standing in the Himalayas between China and Nepal. It is 8,848.86 meters high, with snow covering its top all year round. I like Qomolangma because it is very amazing. Many people from all over the world come to climb it to challenge themselves. When you see it, you can feel the power of nature. It is not only a beautiful place but also a symbol of human courage.
I hope more people can protect Qomolangma and nature around it. Let’s take action to protect our Earth.

Many people think students need to learn outside. Sometimes our school has studied tours. Once a term is a great way to experience the world. Study isn't just about books. You can learn from nature and people around you. That's why study tours are getting popular. In nature tours, students visit shoes, mountains and farms at the farm. They can see cows, pick apples or watch birds. Teachers tell them how plants grow and why animals are important. People hope students will love nature and want to keep IT clean and safe. On other tours, teachers take us to see different jobs. At the police station, we watch policeman teach people about safety. At the factory, workers show us how to make products.

后文明确指出“They can learn a lot about the earth’s history from them”,说明科学家通过岩石了解地球历史。
take需与a holiday搭配而非their holidays;cost主语应为物;pay需与for连用。
have a chance to do sth.

Which book is your favorite one? Many people may choose Journey to the West. Now the book breathes new life into ancient buildings. China’s video game Black Myth: Wukong uses 3D scanning (扫描) technology to recreate the wonderful old buildings. This way not only reduced costs but also provided players with a new look into the beauty of Chinese culture.
Liu Xiaoyu, a player from Beijing, expressed admiration (钦佩) for the game’s high quality and its lively description of ancient buildings. “The historical buildings in the game are so well-mixed with the storyline. Sunshine does make people happier. Imagine how cheerful you are when it clears up after long cold rainy days. Let’s discover the science behind sunlight.
Sunlight causes you to produce a chemical (化学物质) called serotonin (血清素). When you are exposed to sunlight, your body will make more serotonin. Higher levels of serotonin will keep you in good spirits. At night, when there is little or no light, your body produces another chemical-melatonin It helps your body relax and will make you feel tired, which can prepare you for a good night’s sleep. You should keep a good balance between these two chemicals.
However, for many people, it is hard to balance sunlight with darkness. People who stay indoors a lot may not get enough sunlight. The light in a house is usually about 100 times less than that outside on a sunny day. That’s why it is believed that those people should get outside in the, sunshine. They can get some exercise, enjoy the fresh air and be happy, all at the same time.
There are places where it gets dark for a long time in the winter. People in those places are easier to get seasonal affective disorder (SAD). People with SAD usually go through bad experiences such as low energy and sadness. The most common treatment for those people is to sit under bright artificial (人工的) lights for some time.
The roles that sunshine plays in people’s life are more than those above. For example, your body produces Vitamin D (维生素D) from sunlight, which is important for being healthy. As a child, I was afraid of the dark, as so many children are. Not the dark itself, but what I was sure it had: bad spirits, bad people, and anything bad. I tried different ways to keep dark away. I kept myself inside the light on winter afternoons, thinking of light as magic protection. I went to bed with the hall light on and the door slightly open.
Later on, I borrowed Jill Tomlinson’s book The Owl (猫头鹰) Who Was Afraid of the Dark from the library and fell in love with the baby owl, Plop, who learns through others that dark can be exciting, kind, fun, necessary, beautiful and super. At the same time, I read and reread Phyllis Arkle’s Magic at Midnight. In this book, all the animals that are shown on the signs of a village’s stores climb down at midnight. One of the signs is an owl, and this book has a beautiful watercolor owl on the cover.
These stories described night as a magical space where good things could happen. I began to see the possibilities of the dark, but I still preferred to meet it with a safety cordon (防护线) of light.
All this changed for me when I moved to the countryside in east London, at 26. There I lived together with real dark for the first time in my life. I learned the wonder of a starry sky. On cool evenings when the stars seemed close enough to touch, I would dress myself in a warm coat and lie in a quiet yard and stretch (伸展) out into the sky, to the calling of owls from the woods. I have learned, since then, to totally love the dark and everything that lives in it.

I’m planning to visit the filming locations (地点) soon to experience the cultural heritage (遗产) first-hand,” Liu said.
China is home to a large number of well-protected ancient buildings.
In fact, there is more science about sunlight for you to discover. So next time, when you notice the sunshine on your shoulder, take a moment to think, “Why do we love sunshine?”

Summary

Which book is your favorite one? Many people may choose Journey to the West. Now the book breathes new life into ancient buildings. China’s video game Black Myth: Wukong uses 3D scanning (扫描) technology to recreate the wonderful old buildings. This way not only reduced costs but also provided players with a new look into the beauty of Chinese culture.
Liu Xiaoyu, a player from Beijing, expressed admiration (钦佩) for the game’s high quality and its lively description of ancient buildings. “The historical buildings in the game are so well-mixed with the storyline. I’m planning to visit the filming locations (地点) soon to experience the cultural heritage (遗产) first-hand,” Liu said.
China is home to a large number of well-protected ancient buildings.
In fact, there is more science about sunlight for you to discover. So next time, when you notice the sunshine on your shoulder, take a moment to think, “Why do we love sunshine?”

One morning, Patricia was taking a walk on the busy road Estrella Parkway near her home. A car suddenly appeared and rushed past her. Luckily, she was not hurt, but the car came “very, very close,” Patricia said.
Patricia and her grandson, William, often walk together on Estrella Parkway. However, there were lots of cars racing on that road.
