Analyze the consequences of not taking responsibility. 学情分析 Most students know some easy words about responsibility but struggle with new abstract words and long difficult sentences in the passage. They can find basic information while reading, yet they are weak in deep understanding and logical thinking. Besides, students are developing their values and can realize the importance of taking responsibility, but they still need teachers’ guidance to fully grasp the reading text and express their opinions clearly. 教学准备 1. Prepare teaching materials including the reading text and new word lists. 2. Make simple PPT to show key words, main sentences and related pictures about responsibility. 3. Design warm-up activities such as questions and short discussions to help students get ready for the topic. 4. Prepare reading tasks to let students find main ideas and key details. 5. Get ready for simple evaluation ways to check students’ reading understanding after class. 教学过程 Step1 Lead-in 1. 1. Show some pictures of the 18-year-old coming-of-age ceremony and ask: What ceremony do students attend when they turn 18? What’s its importance? 2. 2.
