In 1934, he graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Then he went to America for further study in 1935 and got his PhD in 1939. In 1955, he returned to China and led China’s rocket projects. His work laid a solid foundation for China’s aerospace industry. Thanks to his efforts, China made great progress in rocket technology. He was a key figure in developing China’s aerospace capabilities. I admire Qian Xuesen because of his great love for the motherland.
