一般现在时的被动语态
1.英语的语态是通过动词形式的变化表现出来的。英语中有两种语态:即主动语态(Active Voice)和被动语态(Passive Voice)。主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者;被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者,即行为动作的对象。在英语中,只有及物动词和一些相当于及物动词的词组才有被动语态的形式。当主语为动作的执行者时,谓语的形式为主动语态;当主语为动作的承受者时,谓语要用被动语态。

(1)确定主语和宾语,并互换位置。
(2)谓语变成“be+过去分词”结构。
(3)原主语前加by,如果原主语为代词,则变为宾格形式。

2.被动语态的用法。
一般来说,被动语态用于以下几种情况:
(1)要表达“被……”“受……”“遭……”“让……”之类的语义。
如:Teachers are well respected. 教师很受尊敬。
The child is well loved by people. 这孩子很招人喜爱。
(2)强调动作承受者。
如:He is known far and wide. 他远近闻名。

(3)不知道或没有必要指出动作的执行者。
如:The room is cleaned every day. 房子每天都有人打扫。
总的说来,判断该不该用被动语态主要看主语是否为谓语动词的行为对象。

3.被动语态中动作承受者作句子主语,动作执行者置于句末,用by连接,有时可以省去不用。谓语动词由“be+及物动词的过去分词”构成,一般现在时被动语态的结构为:主语(动作承受者)+is/am/are+动词的过去分词(+by+动作执行者)。
被动语态的句型总结如下:
(1)肯定句:主语+be+及物动词的过去分词(+by … ).
如:Computers are often used by us. 我们经常使用电脑。

(2)否定句:主语+be not+及物动词的过去分词(+by … ).
如:The baby is not looked after by his father. 这个婴儿不由他父亲照顾。
(3)一般疑问句:Be+主语+及物动词的过去分词(+by … )?
如:—Is the boy called Jack?——这个男孩叫杰克吗?
—Yes,he is. /No,he isn't. ——是的,他叫杰克。/不是,他不叫杰克。
(4)特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+be+主语+及物动词的过去分词(+by … )?
如:—What languages are spoken in Canada?——加拿大说什么语言?
—French and English. ——法语和英语。

【注意】以下情况不能使用被动语态:
(1)系动词get,turn,become,seem,look,sound,smell,taste等后接形容词作表语时,用主动语态表示被动含义。
如:The soup tastes delicious. 这汤味道鲜美。
(2)不及物动词及词组没有被动语态,如:take place,happen,come about,break out,appear,disappear,last等。
如:An accident happened on this road last week.
上周这条路发生了一起车祸。
