2025年浙江首考--读后续写框架是如何搭建起来的
刚结束一节读后续写复盘课,针对2025年浙江首考真题,心里满是感触,也想把课堂上的实操思路整理成文,和更多高中英语同行交流,帮学生真正迈过“读不透、续不出、接不上”这道坎。
这篇读后续写,学生第一遍动笔时问题非常集中:要么对原文情节一知半解,伏笔和线索视而不见;要么只能零散翻译句子,抓不住故事核心走向;最后两段开头句摆在面前,也搭不出合理框架,续写内容要么偏离主线,要么和原文逻辑断裂。问题根源不在“写”,而在“读”——没把原文读透、没把线索理清,续写就成了无本之木。
这节复盘课,我带着学生把“读”的步骤拆实、拆透,一步一步锚定方向,再搭建框架,学生很快就明白了“续写从哪里来、到哪里去”。
第一步:锁定Orientation,理清故事背景与核心指向
读后续写的第一步,从来不是急着看续写开头,而是先通过原文前两段,把故事的Orientation(人物、时间、起因)抓准。
Kevin was pretty bored. His mother was at work, and his father had been away on business. Therefore, he was left in the care of Mrs. Hill, an old lady who lived next door. His parents had raised the 12-year-old to be a good boy. He never got into trouble, though sometimes he wanted to do risky things. Mrs. Hill was asleep. Kevin sighed and hoped something exciting would happen. Suddenly, a movement outside caught his eye.人物
Mrs. Hill's front window faced Mr. and Mrs. Green's house across the street. The couple had both gone to work, so it was strange that someone was over there. Thinking that the man might get away with whatever he wanted before the police arrived, Kevin decided to do something. He rushed out of Mrs. Hill's house and crossed the street quickly. Grabbing a branch from a cut-down tree, he jumped in through the window. “Stop right there! You must leave right now!” he called out, holding the branch with both hands.
我带着学生逐句读原文前两段,明确三件事:主人公是谁?还有哪些人物出现在故事中?故事的冲突在哪里?很多学生第一遍写偏,就是因为跳过了这一步,只盯着个别单词翻译,没建立整体的故事认知,更没读懂原文埋下的伏笔。只有把故事背景立住,后续的动作分析、情节走向才不会跑偏。
第二步:用complicating actions专门圈画主人公动作链,预判情节发展逻辑
Mrs. Hill's front window faced Mr. and Mrs. Green's house across the street. The couple had both gone to work, so it was strange that someone was over there. Kevin stared at the man at their front door. Suddenly, the man jumped through an open window into the house. With his heart in his mouth, Kevin grabbed Mrs. Hill's home phone and called the police.
Thinking that the man might get away with whatever he wanted before the police arrived, Kevin decided to do something. He rushed out of Mrs. Hill's house and crossed the street quickly. Grabbing a branch from a cut-down tree, he jumped in through the window. “Stop right there! You must leave right now!” he called out, holding the branch with both hands.
The man froze for a second, but when he saw the skinny boy he breathed a sigh of relief. “Hey, kid, put that down. It was my home. My parents used to live here and my father's watch was here,” he explained, trying to lift a floorboard.
At that moment, the sounds of a police car echoed in the air. The man stood up in a panic, then ran through the house toward the window and jumped out. Kevin followed out and told the arriving police officers what had happened. They pursued and arrested the man.
主人公发现有人闯入家中,立刻拿起电话报警,向警方说明情况;随后迅速拿起树枝防身,勇敢跳进窗户,并大声呵斥、喊话,紧跟着追出去查看情况。这些动作反映出主人公当时的想法--他当时以为有人非法闯入、入室行窃。这个动作链为后文情节埋下了伏笔。
第三步:精读原文结尾段,锁定续写核心方向
原文最后一段,有续写的“伏笔”,很多学生恰恰忽略了这一点。
Kevin went back to Mrs. Hill's house. Somehow he wasn't sure he had done the right thing. “What if he has told the truth?” he thought to himself. The man's words sounded pretty convincing.
这节课上,我们放慢速度重读了最后一段。主人公这上文一系列“警惕、防卫、制止”的动作,都是基于“对方是小偷”的判断。而后文闯入者却说“这是我原来的家,我在找父亲的手表”,形成强烈反差与误会。这就为结尾 Kevin 产生怀疑、思考对方说的是否属实,提供了情节发展方向和悬念,也为整个续写部分提供了一个故事的走向和伏笔---在地板下确实找到了那块表,对方说的也是事实。
我们把“伏笔”和“呼应”拎出来讲:原文没说完的事、没解开的心结,就是续写必须完成的任务。学生这才明白,续写不是“自己编故事”,而是“把原文没讲完的故事讲圆满”,最后一段已经把方向给得明明白白。
第四步:扣紧两段开头句,搭建合理续写框架
通过给出的两段开头句,把前面梳理的背景、动作链、结尾段指向,和这两个开头句一一对应、用5句定框架办法把它们严丝合缝地对接起来。
When Mr. and Mrs. Green got home, Kevin went to talk to them. 第一段的开头:He explained everything that had happened.(主述位推进法,从talked 具体到explained) .....第一段的结尾:The Greens lifted the floorboard. What amazed them was that there was a watch lying silently under it, just as the man had described!(与下文所提的watch相呼应衔接)
Kevin and Mr. Green took the watch they had found to the police station.第二段的开头:They showed the watch to the officer and mentioned again what the man had said.(主位推进法,动作链的连续).....第二段的结尾(问题最终解决的结果):The officer thanked them for their help and promised to keep them updated.第二段的整个故事升华Mr Green looked at him with a smile and patted him on the shoulder, saying, “You are truly a brave and warm-hearted boy,Kevin.”
这节课结束后,最大的感受是:读后续写的“写”只是最后一步,“读透”才是关键。先把故事背景立起来,把动作链串起来,把结尾段的方向抓准,再扣紧开头句搭框架,学生自然能从“读不懂、搭不起”,变成“看得透、写得顺”。
