AI refers to computer systems that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as recognizing speech, making decisions, and translating languages. AI is already being used in many fields. In healthcare, AI helps doctors diagnose diseases more accurately. In transportation, self-driving cars use AI to navigate safely. In education, AI-powered systems can provide personalized learning for each student. However, AI also brings challenges. Some people worry that AI might take away jobs. Others are concerned about privacy and security. Experts say the key is to develop AI responsibly and ensure that it benefits everyone. As the Chinese saying goes, a good craftsman uses his tools wisely—the same is true for technology. 41. What is AI? A. A type of robot. B. Computer systems that perform tasks requiring human intelligence. C. A new phone. 42. In which field is AI NOT mentioned? A. Healthcare. B. Sports. C. Transportation. 43. What does "personalized learning" mean? A. Everyone learns the same way. B. Learning customized for each student. C. Learning from a personal teacher. 44. What concern about AI is mentioned? A. In a traditional economy, people take resources, make products, and then throw them away. This creates a lot of waste. In a circular economy, the goal is to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials so that nothing is wasted. Many countries are taking action. Japan, for example, has one of the highest recycling rates in the world—over 80% of its waste is recycled. In China, garbage sorting has been made compulsory in major cities since 2019. Citizens are required to sort their waste into four categories: recyclable, hazardous, kitchen waste, and other waste. As individuals, we can contribute to a circular economy by choosing products with less packaging, reusing items instead of buying new ones, and properly sorting our garbage. It is not the government alone that can make a difference—it is every one of us. Every small action counts. 46. What is a circular economy? A. An economy based on waste. B. An economy that reduces, reuses, and recycles. C. An economy that throws everything away. 47. How much waste does Japan recycle? A. Over 50%. B. Over 60%. C. Over 80%. 48. When did China make garbage sorting compulsory? A. 2015. B. 2017. C. 2019. 49. How many categories does China sort garbage into? A. Three. B. Four. C. Five. 50. What does the last sentence "Every small action counts" mean? A. 每一个小行动都有意义。 B. 只有大的行动才有意义。 C. 小的行动没有用。 46.B 【详解】循环经济 = reduce, reuse, recycle(减量化、再利用、再循环)。 47.C 【详解】文中写:Japan… over 80% of its waste is recycled。 48.C 【详解】文中写:since 2019,中国强制实行垃圾分类。 49.B 【详解】文中写:four categories(四类)。 50.A 【详解】Every small action counts. 51.
