Long ago, in the Ming Dynasty(朝代), there was a man in China called Wan Hu. He loved science and dreamed of flying into the deep blue sky.
Wan Hu had a brave and crazy idea. He tied forty-seven big rockets to a wooden chair. He held two enormous(巨大的) kites in his hands. He sat on the chair calmly and asked his men to light the rockets. He believed this would take him to the moon.
Suddenly, there was a loud bang and thick smoke. The rockets exploded violently. Wan Hu lost his life. He did not fly into space. However, his dream lived on.
