1.Even if you pay the debt(债务)for him,He will not thank you because it has nothing to do with him.即使你替他还了债,他也不会感谢你,因为这个债务与他毫无关系。
2.He wears a T-shirt though it is very cold.他穿了一件 T 恤杉,尽管天很冷。

结果状语从句
结果状语从句通常由 so that,so…that…,such…that…等引导。 注意:结果状语从句主要考查so 和 such 的区别,so 修饰形容词或副词;而 such 修饰名词。但是当名词前有 many,much,little,few 时用 so。
1.He is a very clever boy so that we all like him. 他是一个非常聪明的孩子以至于我们都喜欢他。
2.English is so useful that I am determined to learn it well. 英语如此有用,以至于我下决心要学好它。
3. We left in such a hurry that we forgot to lock the door.我们走得匆忙,都忘锁门了。 4.He lost so many bikes that he decided never to buy a new one. 他丢了那么多辆自行车,他决定再也不买新车了。
5.He is such a little boy that he can't lift the box. 他是这么小的小孩,以至于提不起那个箱子。(注:此句中 little 是“小”的意思。)
6.This is so interesting a book that we all enjoy reading it.这本书非常有趣,我们都喜欢看。
方式状语从句
方式状语从句常用的引导词有 as if/as though,as,(just)as…,like,the way 等。 注意:在不正式的文体中,like可以用来替换as if/as though。
1.He looks as if he knew the answer. 他看起来好像知道答案。
2. When in Rome,do as the Romans do. 入乡随俗。 The room was decorated just as he had imagined. 房间的装饰正如他想象的那样。
