二、阅读理解。
As students,we are all familiar with school rules. But some rules are strange.
Here are two strange school rules. Do you think they make sense?
No red ink
Teachers usually mark our homework with red ink. The bright colour is used to point out all our mistakes. However, red ink is banned by many schools in Australia and the U.K. Some people think that red ink can harm kids psychologically(心理上地) because the colour frightens them and puts pressure on them.
Period 5 Section B (3a-3d)(单元综合训练)
They think green, pink, yellow, purple and blue are more relaxing.
No hand-raising
It's common(普遍的) for students to raise their hands in class to answer the teacher's question. However, the raising of one's hand has been banned in a school in Nottinghamshire(诺丁汉郡),England. The head teacher of the school believes that teachers always only see the same students raising their hands. This does not encourage the learning of the other students in the class. Now,with the “no hand-raising” rule,a teacher can choose any student to answer the question.
